HI,
I love this already but I have a few formatting issues. First of all is there any way to ensure links are clickable and that they open in a seperate window, same as when a links is posted anywhere else? EXAMPLE: http://www.productionforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=260 Secondly, I've got some formatting problems with some of the feeds coming through. EXAMPLE:http://www.productionforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=182 Is there any way to tighten this up? Or will the feed providor have to sort it out? Finally, I'm having to allow HTML in the forums I have the feeds in. Is there any way to limit it so only the account I'm using to post the feeds can use HTML? Oh, another quick thing. Once I've clicked update feeds, it won't post the same messages again, even if I have deleted them. This makes it hard to test, is there a way round this? Thank you in advance. :) |
I get this error after trying to update the feed:
Code:
Fatal error: Only variables can be passed by reference in /home/post/public_html/forum/includes/class_ffrss.php on line 371 Code:
if (!empty($this->LastAdded)) |
anyone get this working with woot feeds?
it won't accept any parent config from http://www.woot.com/salerss.aspx |
Is there a way I can use a feed to grab data from and post it in the header?
I would like to set up a weather box in my header template. Does anybody know if this is possible? Thank you. |

Hi,
I have this problem: I am wanting to create a feed for Google UK News with this: feed://news.google.co.uk/?ned=uk&topic=n&output=rss I have put this into the detect settings and also manually, both times I receive this message: "While attempting to parse the document located at "feed://news.google.co.uk/?ned=uk&topic=n&output=rss" the system encountered the following error: Invalid URL To RSS Feed Given Please check settings related to this issue." Could someone please either point out where I have gone wrong or suggest a valid URL? Many Thanks. |
This is a really excellent hack. Saves me going to all the hassle of upgrading to 3.6! :D
I just have one question: Would the headlines still get posted in a read only forum? |
does this work with 3.5.4 >?
