Make sure you have submitted the vBulletin options after seting your vbHome options there.

OK now I got it to work.

Some problems still there:

_It shows my latest threads, but not the text of the thread. Just x comments by xxx
_when I log in it directly links me to my forums (which is OK IMO) but when I go back I'm log out (which is not ok I think.) :p

:here is what I get when I put yes for PM or Poll option.

I've upgraded your status at TW.com now its working.

The information to getting the news to show should be in the readme to. Please go through it and make sure you have covered everything.

hello i have gone thru most of the posts here and am still having a bit of a problem.
i get this when i try to access the main vblite home page.

Warning: ChDir: No such file or directory (errno 2) in /www/s/stan68/htdocs/index.php on line 12

im thinking i did'nt add a template mabye?? only thing i can guess but im not sure which one it would be.

hmm i just went thru each of the steps again checked the path everything seems fine, well seems fine to me obviously it's not because the vbhl won't work.

I like VBhome! Great Job!
I would like to know if there is a chance to have the latest Threads displayed in the middle of the page in a wide column as in vbportal.

I installed vbportal a long time ago but my forums became really huge and now vbportal is slowing down the whole page. So i would like to use vbhome.

now i need a little help
the portal was fine
i upgraded from VB 2.2.8 to 2.2.9
now portal dead
i re-did the code changes to
member.php
newthread.php
template.php
i thought it would just work again
what do i got to do to get it working again ???

There is a fix for this on the support forums.
You have to run an upgrade script made for vbHome (lite) only.

I figured it out. It was when I modified newthread.php where it says find "code" and then add this after my brain was on autopilot and thought replace this with. Might want to make it bold and big for those of us who are idiots... great script though, streamlined and efficient. Thanks!

There is no need to put it in bold, you simply have to read it, since is clear like crystal...

How do you rectify the problems that arise from having vBHL installed with 2.2.8 and then upgrading to 2.2.9?

I think i saw something on the techwizards.com forums but I don't have restricted area access to view it.
