So after seeing your note, I went back and clicked on "Add default/missing achievements" (at the bottom of the Achievements Page in admincp.

It's too early to tell whether it's fixed or not, should know within the hour.
I can confirm this issue as well, as it is occurring on my site too. Yes, I did run the achievements recount and it didn't change the 7 day achievement issue.

Cannot confirm this as it is working like it should on my boards.

I dont have Project Tools CDP installed, I've never even heard of it before yesterday.

Actually, ALL of my members, regardless of how long they've been registered are showing 7 days.

Also, another glitch, when you click in a members profile and try to see the tabs, this is how the "experience" tab displays:

Is there a file that explains the achievements settings?? I'm using the default achievements. When you click on User> 7 days Registered> Edit > Conditions >

It currently shows (by default)
Days since registering > Higher than 14

Shouldn't that just be higher than 7?

Then, if you go to Category> Social Network> Recommendation first Class> edit > Condition>

Referrals> Higher Than 125

But in the description it states that only 5 referrals are needed to receive this achievement.

In the Category> Social Network> Three Friends> conditions> Friends Higher than 9-

But the description says 3 friends, so shouldn't the value be only 4??

Where are these weird numbers coming from?? Exactly what do you have to put in the value field to get them to calculate properly??

Is this why members that have been on the site for Years and years are only displaying as 7 days registered??

Also, if you Delete Achievements that are not necessary- it creates a MySql Database Error, see 2 posts above.

I know if I want to use 8WR_Media_Library.xml, I must install media library addon first.

In addition, do I need to use custom data provider to connect database and this plugin
("Attachment_Consumes_Points.xml")?

so far, I just imported Attachment_Consumes_Points.xml, but nothing changed after I
downloaded a pdf attachment. 20 points should be taken away from user's experience
points.

If achievements are calculated in points, are the calculated based on the point values in http://www.mysite.com/admincp/option...erience_points

meaning if I change the point value of the registration to .25 than I have to adjust the achievement of days registered to 1.75 for 7 days; etc?

Disable the achievements for Project Tools ("Innovator").

This is an achievement, it will be replaced by other achievements that are higher. Once again, you need to recalc achievements.

You don't have fully 4.1.x compatible templates, revert them ("MEMBERINFO").

Attachment_Consumes_Points does not need any other. Please check if you entered PDF as a "free" attachment via settings.
This consumes points from the custompoints, making them negative if there are not enough points.

You are NOT understanding what I am telling you. I have RECALCULATED THE Achievements more than 15 TIMES. I am using the DEFAULT achievements that came with it.

IT IS NOT UPDATING CORRECTLY despite the fact that the recalculation has been done, unless there is a DIFFERENT way of "recalculating".

AdminCP> Experience> Recount> Assign Achievements - does not fix the issue.

AdminCP> Experience>Manage Achievements> Clear ALL Issued Achievements & Logs THEN going back and recounting STILL DOES NOT WORK.

It DOES NOT Update properly. Members that have been online for more than 3 years should be showing as veterans and ALL Members are showing as 7 days Registered.

I get how it's SUPPOSED to work, the point is, it DOESN'T work.

According to other posts- these points are based off what is entered in the points field - so, if you go to AdminCP> Options> Experience> Experience Points> scroll down to "Points for Days Online" - I am using the value of .25

THEN- if you go BACK to AdminCP> Experience> Manage Achievements> USER-

[7 days registered] 7 days registered (Edit) > Conditions> Should be 1.75 (for 7 days)
[31 days registered] 31 days registered (Edit)> Conditions > Should be 7.75 (31 days)
[3 months registered] 3 months registered (Edit)> Conditions > should be 22.50 (for 3 months/ 90 days)
[1 year registered] 1 year registered (Edit)> conditions> should be 91.25 (for 365 days)

But these values do not work any better than the default values, which don't work at all, incidentally.If you go intot he user profile and look at the join date it says July of 2008- but if you look at "Days since registering" under points (in the same user profile) it says 17.

No need to scream. You are doing some experiments that I cannot follow why you are doing them (it seems you don't even understand why the system works with points).

Oy vey, I'm not screaming, I tried explaining to you in plain english and with step by step photos so you could see the glitch in your mod, which you apparently want to blatantly ignore.

I'm not doing "experiments". I have a site that has been online for over a decade and I'm not even remotely interested in giving users points for things that happened 10 years ago, so I changed the point values (which is supposedly what the mod is for).

Apparently, you want people to use the mod with the defaults that you installed so that it MIGHT work properly.

If you change points, than you need also to change the points required for achievements/awards. And also take care if you use the function to recalc from a defined date. If you don't know what you are doing than you will get wrong results. Espacially if you use the default achievements but retain your custom settings.

This modification has 1283 installs and just you are saying the achievements don't work.

Snow, are you calculating points from a specific date, or from the beginning of your boards tiime (since it was created)?

the board I was running the mod on was 4.0.6 - and whatever date you set for Point Calculation to start is the date that your "days registered" was calculated from.

Before uninstalling,

I changed the "Start calculation of points from given date (MM/DD/YYYY)" date to January 1, 2011 and it stated "Days since registering 313"
even though the Actual registration date is 01-15-2005

This is why the achievements don't calculate properly. They only calculate from the Date entered in the "Start calculation of points from given date (MM/DD/YYYY)" field.
The friends/reputation show from the beginning of time, but the Days registered gets rewritten to the "calculate from a given date".

Do you use a specific date on your board (in the admincp>experience> points> Start calculation of points from given date (MM/DD/YYYY)" ) or do you use the default "0" which calculates for all time??

I want to know how I can put that button to see the other achievements that have users and in the postbit only see 5 or the amount you put in it.

There is actually no dedicated page about all achievement a particular user has. Maybe this is a suggestion for a future version.

Yes, I calculate from the beginning of the board so I set 0 to "Start calculation of points from given date" not from a specific date and I think you should do it, or can you tell me why you have to calculate from a specific date cause I noticed your board start from 2005, right?

When you receive a promotion I want the pm to link to a different page, at the moment it goes to insight, where can this be changed I have looked through the code and cant seem to find it.

i had issue of server overload due to spam bot mostly in previous version..when i disabled previous version, no such problem..so i think there was some problem with previous version..now ujpgrading to this version..i hope there wont be such problem now.

It's not in the PHP files. You need to change the code of a plugin named "vBExperience (notifications)":
Please check if the banned usergroup id is set to be ignored in vBExperience Settings.

Would like to give users awards for first three places and also some achievements....
Installed plugin for ibproarcade, just dont know what to set in "Add a new Award", as in settings it is mentioned that I can set this manually but...?

Vbulletin has so many areas you have to look when you want to make changes, makes it hard some times!

Look out for the fieldname "Arcade Championships" and select it. Create three awards and put gold, silver or bronze on each of them - automatically the best three user should get the award.
