Yea copy & paste brings over any format the text may already have.

I downloaded this theme for 4.2 but did not see a blue version. Am I missing something?

The xml for the Blue version is in the xml folder, it must be installed as a child to the vbulletin-Blackend.xml

I would install the newest version of the style leaving your old one in place then copy over any edits you have done.

About the only way you can do it as updating a style overwrites any edits you have done. Wish there were an easier way but the changes since the last update were numerous.

You could try setting your edited version as a child to the new version and see if that works, but I wouldn't do it live.
