Guh...

Installed it on a shared server, worked fine. Upgraded to a semi-dedicated, worked fine. Upgraded to VPS... Not working.

I made sure that apache is running with curl with openssl... It's installed just like before... Not working.

I tried turning on the debugs.. It puts my reply box text a bit off and I get:

NULL NULL
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at [path]/includes/class_bootstrap.php(103) : eval()'d code:58) in [path]/includes/functions.php on line 3904

Same error for each of them... (the NULL doesn't repeat when only one is on, but the error message is the same.)

Conclusion: My server's resolv.config was set wrong... When that was corrected, boom. Everything works again. Even with the 4.1.5 upgrade going...

Look for this question in the FAQ section of the first post for your answer:

I think I have set up everything correctly, the thread and/or post is created with no issues, there are no errors, but nothing is posted to twitter. Help !!!

It's very unfortunate that they can't find a fix for the accents, as our forum is in French.

Also, unless I'm missing something, there are only two settings: 1- Tweet only the first post, or; 2- Tweet the first post AND every time someone replies

I wish they had a bit more flexibility to adjust which Tweets you want. For example, odd or even replies, or every "x" number of replies...

Other than that, it's great!

Plugin is working great. But tweet not send with special chars (like ö, ü). How can i solve this?

I'm unsure about some settings in the admin cp

I selected from the drop-down 'disable in selected forums', but there's nowhere for me to specify forum-IDs in the admincp, only a place for me to specify ALLOWED forums.

Am I missing something here or what am I doing wrong?

It's the next box - "WS vBulletin Tweet Poster Selected Forums". Enter the forum IDs you want to disable.

You are correct the text on this box is wrong, from a time before the options were added to disable forums.

Hi,

How Can I add a Post Prefix to each tweet? (Like many websites such as Twitterfeed.com), for example:

[Post Prefix Here] Tweet content bit.ly/TweetURL23

Another example:

[Forum] vBulletin, the best forum system bit.ly/TweetURL23

Thanks.

You can enable Thread Prefixes in the AdminCP options for this hack, and it will be used for the post prefix when replies are tweeted, as well as when creating a thread that is tweeted.

I am talking about a standard prefix for all tweets made with this add-on, not vbulletin thread prefix, have you tried twitterfeed.com? this service provides what I am saying.
