I'm sure its taking them a long time to deliver on their promises. We're just tired of hearing about how great they are going to be, and how close they are to fruition.

DarkWaltz started a poll on his site asking the public if they are taking too long to release products. I guess he and Pixeldude didn't like the answers, so the site shut down. The poll was 10 months old.

Not a big deal, but I'm more cautious about using any of these products, and certainly suspicious of paying for anything.

All DarkWaltz needs is time, I don't see anybody willing to throw money at this, certainly not Jelsoft. Will money get anything released faster? No.

They just need to focus on getting the product out, support what you have, and not waste time with promises, teasers, and writing up explanations on why the site is unavailable.

I already said the exact reason the site is closed - I havent gotten back to the messages yet and people were getting impatient. To prevent a mutiny, it was closed. As soon as I finish answering everything on the site, I will open it right back up.

(Name modifier) or something similar (don't know if you are putting such a thing in the upcoming shop you are making for VBCredits) that changes the color/style/font/etc. of Usernames..

Would like the ability to have people need to spend credits to buy the name changes if possible or something of the sort..

Also, wondering how to integrate this with Name That Tune, currently have it installed but says everyone has $0.00 when you go to Name That Tune even though I put in VBCredits for the "Cash System Used " settings =\

And.. one last thing.. I'm importing my forum from SMF soon, building everything first.. on there I have a mod called SMFShop which users have credits already for. It saves them in the database with each user ID having credits .. and in their bank.. Would there be any way to import the numbers to their VBCredits once I import the forum from SMF.. or would I need to manually change everyones credits in VBCredits?
(In the database on the memberlist it has each user ID column & member name column with money column & money in bank column)

Like Waltz said, that has nothing do to with why the site is closed. Not to mention, your last statement is a logical fallacy. The only reason we keep hearing about how close they are to completion, is because people won't stop asking the same question over and over again. I'm also going to take a huge leap of faith here, and presume that having a baby is one the best excuses in the world as to why development would be delayed. Ever had a wife that wondered why you where in front of the computer all day? Ever had a pregnant wife wondering why? Yeah, we're lucky he's even going forward with production at all.

Charging for name changes is already planned for vBCustomizer, but I looked at that hack and I think I could put in something quick for you if you PM me about it.

Try putting "credits" (without quotes) as the value for points hack in Name That Tune

While obviously the data is still there, I have no experience using/editing either SMF or Impex :( It is slightly less obvious because vB re-assigns userids..

I can tell you that you would want to convert the points column in SMF to the credits column on the user table in vbulletin.

Perhaps if you asked vB and gave them that exact info, they could tell you what to edit. I would think it is something small, I just have no idea where to edit.

Is there an option of "Admin Donate" Like in the previous version?
I want to give users credits, but i want the transaction to be stored as "Admin Donate" and not to have the given credits taken off from my account.

The admin donate feature has been expanded into the Post Award System in vbcredits 1.4x. Now there is a series of limits you can grant such that anyone could use it - without getting too out of hand. However, if you want the old functionality, set all limits to -1 (unlimited) for your admin group.

A user just reffer 40 members but he dont seem get any referrer point..YES those user did add his nickname under referrer .

Can u direct me like ABC to that option ?
