i have a slight issue, i add like 20 events in one day, and it created a thread per event which I LOVE , the only problem is my forum page will be 20 thread of event then people post, so i though i would do is move the thread to another forum which i only have access and as events get closer move them back to main forum, the only problem with this is it breaks the link between the thread and the event ... is there any solution for this?
Thanks |
This is a great mod and I'm also happy to pay to get this brushed up to work with 3.7 as well as it possibly can. Does anyone know if there is developer actively working on an update to this mod? If not, I might have a go myself.

Hey everyone,
I am having this modification updated as I type this. I don't have time to read through this thread, but if everyone could post the known bugs, as well as feature requests, I can try and get them worked out. Evercraft has graciously given me permission to release the updated modification when it is done. Thank you!! |
feature request: being able to move posts from one event thread to another ... (now you also cannot move a eventthread)

Can't wait to see the updated version. Thanks for taking this on ptwiggins.

Absolutely love this mod. Unfortunately, it caused some problems after I installed the 3.7.2 Patch Level 1. Started getting this error message:
Database error in vBulletin 3.7.2: Invalid SQL: DELETE FROM vb3_moderation WHERE type = 'thread' AND threadid = 2374; MySQL Error : Unknown column 'threadid' in 'where clause' Error Number : 1054 Request Date : Thursday, July 24th 2008 @ 09:44:54 AM Error Date : Thursday, July 24th 2008 @ 09:44:54 AM Script : http://canyoneering.net/forums/calen...p?do=update&e= Referrer : http://canyoneering.net/forums/calen...ype=single&c=1 IP Address : xxx Username : xxx Classname : vb_database MySQL Version : Techs over at .com suggested I disable mods one at a time until the problem went away. It did once I disabled vB Event Forums. Count me among those that hope a fix will be developed. |
Users keep getting their posts thrown into a Moderation queue, and I can't seem to remove them. Been checking all the permissions and I can't seem to find where it might be preventing folks from posting normally.
On top of that when they're posted and put into moderation they aren't showing up as calendar events anymore. Just did a fresh install on everything, running 3.7.2 PL1 also getting the above email errors sent to me ^ anyone having the same issues or ideas to fix? |
ok well it seems one of my usergroups has the ability to post without a problem, but I still can't seem to locate the permissions where I've apparently allowed them to do this. Driving me up the wall ugh.
