Are you superadmin? If not, set yourself as one.

Since I installed this mod, I can't make a single post in VB. I'm unable to create a new thread or reply to a post unless it's quick reply.
I've uninstalled it but it's still the same. Was fine before. Any idea why? |

If anyone comes across the same problem, don't do the edits. |
I installed this mod yesterday and apart from the post.php bit it was fine. Managed to get it working.
Tried installing it twice today, fresh install, re-upload of all files and I can't get the DBTech options to appear in the AdminCP. (They appear under settings, but I can't get to the manage buttons bit) Why would that be please? |

Yeah I sorted mine. Thanks - I'd forgotten i'd over written my config file ha
Fillip - Is there anyway of moving the thanks/like buttons to somewhere different? I'd like to move to in front of "Edit Post". http://www.clio197.net/forum/rogue/edit.png Thanks again. Great mod, the forum are loving it. |
Would like for it to work but I decided to UNINSTALL.... I am in the super admin block.
Been doing this longer then you and your hack is a nice one just does not work on my website, for whatever reason. |

"DBTech - Post Thanks" in your AdminCP navigation menu, then editing each button and setting your usergroup permissions from there. Note: You will not see the buttons on your own post! After the Manage Buttons settings view other users/members post to see button display. |
thanks... it is working now...:)

Having problems after updating to ver 3.2.5 with the profile page not displaying history. I have to keep rebuilding button click cache to get it to work. Anybody else?

And, although here's still no v3.2.5 (but it will be :D), I must say that it is really much more optimized, server load is noticeable, but bearable.
Now I have 25 posts per page, with older versions I needed to lower it to 10 posts per page to "neutralize" server load, now I think that even 20 posts per page would be fine, in worse case 15 posts per page would give even some advantage (of course, compared with server load with 25 posts per page). Just to mention, I tested vBSEO's likes, they produced even bigger server load than older versions. Didn't tested Abe's thanks hack though. So, this version (3.2.5) is very big step forward server load wise. |
Installed this product and I am getting bad database errors (see below). Please help!

Redownload the pro version and reinstall it. Then go to Rebuild Button Click Cache in the Maintenance function in admincp and run that.
It cleared it up for me. Caution- your users will be set back to 0 ... |
Regarding the v3.2.5 bug reports:
After noticing the issues with the v3.2.5 update I opted not to release this version here on vBulletin.org until the issues had been taken care of. I feel confident enough in the stability of this version that v3.2.5 Patch Level 1 will be available here tomorrow. The PL1 release is a rollup of the hotfixes that have been released over the past week based on bug reports @ our site. As you may have noticed, vBulletin.org threads are not the primary support resource for our products. We ask that if you download the mod from our site, please also post your support query on our site. This will enable us to help you much quicker, as we have multiple tools available to not only get notified of your support query, but also to debug your issue. Lastly, we will never provide support for the Pro version in this thread. It's against vBulletin.org policies to promote the Pro version here, and we consider Pro support as promotion. For that reason, any support requests for the Pro version will be either overlooked or directed towards our site for support. Thank you for your understanding :) Fillip |
Yes, Users will be set back to 0...but...If you go to Thanks/Like Maintenance and run each item everything will come back
The only other thing is the Thanks / Like in the users Profile as the new default feature of Recent Entries is 30 days. If you want some of these back go to the Thanks/Like Settings --> Scroll down to the bottom see... Recent Entries and perhaps change to 365 days or the number of day you would like... Edit: better yet what Fillip said...I didn't see it his post as I was typing! :) |
