just installed it today.. works like a charm

you can set up a new custom vB Code like [hurl] or something, then let it replace by:
[hide][url={option}]{param}[/url][/hide]
make sure to mark use option as YES.
this will hide every link posted by [hurl] (or whatever you like)

well maybe you tried with the standard settings...
then it won't work in some forums (set in acp) also you will always see your own hidden content so you need at least 2 Accounts to make a full test.
Oh.. and I've attached a 3.5.x version somewhere in this thread, I cannot remember the exact post, but you'll find it using "search this thread" i'm sure.

please go to ACP -> Custom vB Codes -> [hide] and click on EDIT,
then in the next window, just click on safe again, no need to edit anything,
that'll do.

i just install this erything looks like is workin but if a use the bbcode hide dont work and everithing inside the ['hide'] tags is show any idea

you will ALWAYS see what you have hidden yourself,
also all admins and Mods can see what's hidden (if set in acp)
See pictures: If you have drawn a box around some parts of the text, everything works fine.
View post with an ordinary useraccount to check.

i even remove the admin to see the hidden stuff the way i solve when a disable ajax from the script and from vb, thats true jeeje i fforget to install , install now
