Hello,
Thank you for your response. Unfortunately restricting it by usergroup will not be adequate in this situation. Im attempting to discourage members from spending hours chatting via the shoutbox because it means that they are not posting on the forum! I don't want to have to remove the shoutbox although it is looking like this is the only option. I suppose that i could create a new usergroup which has access to the shoutbox and manually transfer the members who meet the requirements into this group. This would do the job although it would be time consuming. Does anybody else have any suggestions? Thanks, |
I've noticed when I use the /me command, my username isn't indicated with the datestamp. (Of course, it shows in the shout...) Is this normal?

I suspected so. Just needed to be sure.

I confirm the problem. |
99% of users have no problem. A couple users have the issue with "Loading" appearing in the box but it doesn't load and when they input into the text field and hit enter, they get a white page. I don't know why only a couple users have this problem, perhaps it's a java version problem?
Thanks for the hack, BTW. For 99% of my users it works great and they love it. |

I haven't tried the other prune commands but /pruneshout [shout] doesn't appear to do anything. I assume you're meant to quote the whole shout between the []? Because that's what I did.
