i get 404 errors and mod_rewrite and mod_mime are enabled in apache.

any clue on why ?

hmm, no idea, if you followed the instructions exactly it should work ..

i did follow the directions exactly.

Could it be a misconfguration of apache?

I run the server, and im still kinda new to apache, so it may be my error, but i did remove the comments on the module calling lines for apaches mod_rewrite and mod_mime .

it only does them on the forum and topic files.

hmm i have no idea, sorry, i'm not good in those server things..
