well i learned to use the [hide] tag, but it doesnt seem to work right... i imported the xml into my language and had to ignore the version it was meant for... when i click thanks on the post, the content inside of the tags are not revealed... i have to reply to the thread, and then click thanks before i can see the hidden content.

Just upload any image you find suitable to images/editor of your forum, then add that image at ACP->Own vB Codes ->[<EDIT>] hide in the filepath to image field like so : images/editor/ed-hide.gif
and safe, you're done

well, this hack IS NOT OPEN SOURCE in the GNU sense of words, so please keep in mind that I do not support edits that I do not have made myself.
I do not like my hacks being edited other than a language conversion..

a) you do not use my hack
b) you've edited around
please uninstall my hack and reinstall with a fresh download and check again.

wow, maybe that's an issue with the RTL style, I cannot test at this very moment,
because I do not have any testing area.
I'll try to set one up to make sure it is NOT RTL...
nevertheless, please try a reinstall in the meantime

exactly! if you do not upload any editor-image you'll have to type the tag manually
(that's the way I like it aha aha *sing along*)
But feel free to upload ed-hide.gif to the images/editor folder of your forum then
follow the instructions I just gave to qqqqw ;)

I got this problem when installing the product:

Database error in vBulletin 3.6.8:

What can i do?

all that matters is: Duplicate entry 'hide-0'
That is the other hide-hack you have installed.

And because you cannot call the same custom vb Code twice with two different hacks it'll cause an error if you try to do so.

Yep, i thought that, so i went to check if i had already uninstalled everything from the previous hide hack. Everything was right, but i didnt manage to install the new hide hack :S

If I create a new group such as VIP group, how do I set this group which can see all hidden messeges?

easy go to ACP -> vBulletin Settings -> Text: vBCode [hide]
there you'll find an inputbox to enter comma seperated Usergroup-ids which to show hidden content to without doing anything.
(see 6th picture in first post, second inputbox is what you're looking for ; sorry for german version)
