hey there, I run saskforum.ca, and I noted just now when I uninstalled the 3.8 mod "Mgc Chatbox Evo", now I can't get the forum to work at all!

Well that would mean separate query to get the private messages. Remind me of this features in some month once I have implemented the tab PM feature :)

The chatbox would never have caused such errors. Seems like some table have been removed from your forum but that's not due to the chatbox itself.

I have a request for adding a feature .
Is it possible to have advertisement sentences between the chat ? For example in front of 5 chat message we would be able to send a AD BOT message or SPONSORED LINK .
Also this idea can be repleted by a FORUM NEWS or FORUM STATISTICS function when a thread updates a message would show in the chat box calling "The thread X Updated".

Is it possible to make it more secure, asking people to must enter a reCaptcha before they can submit a chat entry / comment ? Or is the System save enough to not allow Bots to put in a lot of crap, like you see on many other Chat / Shoutbox Systems ?

If you only allow user to post if they are registered then there should be no problem ?

I was asked to do a kind of captcha for anonymous user post, will add this to the todo list. (I therefore would set it for each user but not sure because this would be annoying for users to have to enter captcha everytime)
