My wife has the tetris high score on my site of 273,641. I watched her do it, and although there's no way in hell I could ever get that high, she could probably go even higher if she really worked at it. I'd say 350k is definately possible.

I'm trying to upload new games, but they don't work! I can add them, I can play, but they don't submit the score!

I'm uploading the images in "/images/arcade" and SWF in "/games" and I'm using the "Manually Add Game"... I can add them, but they don't send the score!

The five "default" games that came in the install of V3Arcade works just fine... The problem is with the new games I'm trying to add...

I've tried:
- SpankTheMonkey
- IceAge
- YetiSports

And a lot more... They work fine while playing, but they don't send the score when the game is over... :(

I don't get any error, I'm not redirected to index.php... The game just stays there, and nothing happens while it should be submiting the score...

Please make sure that you have entered the game shortnames/gamenames correctly, these can be found inside the zip file in the game.php file.

I upgraded to 3.6 RC3 on my site with no problems :)

(Though as always, you should make a backup of your filesystem & database just in case you need to revert!)

Whats the status with v3 Arcade? The site is always showing the same content. Will it ever be updated?

v3arcade doesn't work with Safari v2.0+ and might be a mac in general.

After some months of empty space i switched to ibproarcade now. I was surprised how many functions ibpro now has and how sweet it looks like. I'm sorry to leave the v3arcade after 2 years of fun. My users cannot live with stopped development. A bit sad.... Wachtmeister (the man with about 1.000 games in his arcade now) ;)

How hard was it to switch over? Many of us, well me for sure, have VbBux addon installed with the V3 Arcade...

Its not hard to switch over at all.. Just sucks john screwed all of us over once again...

I'm on Safari, as are many of my users. v3arcade works fine.

how do you challenge members? I don't see any type of option of any sort in the User CP, or on the arcade.php page? Please help...

The main reason I stick with v3 Arcade is because it looks much better and is much easier to edit than ibproArcade. There's that and the possibility of live multiplayer games in the future.

Okay, I don't know if this is a problem with our install or if I need another add-on, but here's my question:

With the last arcade before we upgraded our vB, we had icons above people's names in threads for their high scores, but we don't have it with this version. Is there something I need to change or add or just not working right?

And it is possible to still have a great arcade using v3Arcade...IF you upgraded to version 3 and have the hundreds of LEGAL games from the old days. I got 388 games! :D

I think you're somewhat mistaken.

There were only ever around 20 "legal" game releases, maximum.

When running the query from inside my forum admin panel, could someone tell me which query to run to set all of the games to require 5 posts per 24 hour period in order to have access to them?

People have gotten it to work, but there are several template changes apparently in 3.6 that you have to basically redo some of the templates. I know ppl had it working in BETA versions of 3.6

That setting is in the Games section of the v3 Arcade item in AdminCP (so AdminCP --> v3 Arcade --> Games) Select each game you want to restrict in the way you describe (press Edit --> Go) . The third item down in the Access Restrictions is the bit you want.
