It takes a LONG time for my Settled events page to load. Is there anything I can do to speed that up? Setting one of the database items as an index?

Open events and Closed events don't take as long but aren't exactly speedy either.

Do I need to manually prune old events from the database or something?

Anyone got an idea about this error?

I have created events but when users try to bet on an item they get the "No Thread specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator". However, if you go back and check the money has been placed?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Could an update be made select who can settle a bet?

This way anyone can make an event but someone with authority has to validate it.

My users love vBookie but are betting some insane amounts. Can I request a new "feature" where you can set the maximum amount that can be bet on any item. For example, $15,000 would be the maximum amount they could bet.

If you read through the thread you will see that this has already been answered.

Please can someone clarify that after hitting the "Bet now" wht happens? Trying to find out why i get this "No Thread specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator" error from. I have read the entire thread and noone has had a problem similar to mine.

Can anyone help me please? Do i have to rebuild bitfields or something to stop this invalid link problem happening? I have tripled check my installation and it seems fine with all the correct additions to the templates. I just need to know where i can start troubleshooting this problem.
