Exactly, i tried youtube and metacafe, the first works with autoplay, the second did not play

I like the sound of this mod but have a question. Firstly my apologies if this has been answered before but 33 pages seems a lot to read through...

A member hotlinks a youtube video they link and it's posted on a separate "Video" page/tab?
Can a member upload a personal video they've recorded and have it played as well?
Are all the videos a member links to and/or has uploaded themselves, shown in their profile as some sort of video album, similar to the photo album in the profiles?

I'd love to offer this sort of service to my members where they can build their own video album and have it shown on a separate video tab for other members to view. Perhaps with some kind of rating system of sorts.

Once again my apologies if this has been answered already.

Why don't you just type a description into the text box? When you click Submit Media on the submit form, it does not do ANY retrieval from feeds; so it is technically IMPOSSIBLE for this problem to exist. The information is passed from the text box; not from the feed. So I have no idea what this issue is, you are having. Sounds to me like User Error. You can add a video with no description simply by adding a description to the text box:

Also, lower the CACHE time... since vbCMS doesn't give you the option to put the code into the configure box when you create it... it could have cached in an EMPTY box... and it would be some time before it refreshes with the code. Another example of vbCMS being SHIT.

Ok I'll try and clarify.... I understand they're able to link to YouTube,. I was wondering of the member can upload a personal video, to my forum somehow which is then run locally off my server? Secondly, is there an "album" of sorts in their profile showing the videos they've uploaded and/or linked to (youtube)?
