Never mind, I figured it out. It happens when you install AME first, and later the blog. Re-importing the AME xml file will fix that.

Love the Mod

I have got it working in IE 7 but cant get the video to play in Firefox 3. It shows up and the first frame of the vid is loaded and waiting BUT when I hit play that's as far as it goes.

Cleared all internet options (Cookies, cache etc) and made sure that flash was up to date, still no luck.

Can some one please assist me with my newest speed bump.

Waiting Patiently

I feel I did everything right on installing AME. Here are some pictures to show you.

Look at the beginning of the youtube code. I put it on a forum that works and the code stayed the same (Pic 1). In pic two, I put this code on my forum and it change the code and it does not work.

Looks like my pictures did not work well. Anyway, is there any settings in Vbulletin itself I need to change to make AME work? I did change the one forum I want video in to allowing html in posts. It still did not work.

Please, help.

This mod doesn't upload, it embeds. There are definitions available though for locally hosted files by DJ I believe.

Thanks Floris, as an FYI for other users... there is a link in the Tools menu to add the indexes to the additional functional areas in the instance you added AME before you upgraded to 3.7 and/or the blog :)

Hope you like :D

This won't have to do with AME. All AME does is transform your URL into the embed code you would have found on the destination site. What you are talking about is either a flash or a FF issue.

HTHs!

I am not sure what youre trying to do here. This mod doesnt allow you to paste HTML into posts, it allows you to simply paste the URL of the page with the embedded video into your post. AME then converts that safely into the embed code you seem to be pasting. Its much safer, easier and intuitive for your users.

HTHs!
