Ever think of adding an option to have it display in ALBUMSHOME part of vBulletin
|
Hi there, only my paid usergroup has access to albums.
It's probably a bit too much to ask for a feature so that other usergroups could see this block without accessing the photos and albums. Can you tell me if I done a workaround by coying the source code from the browser for the random block and placed it in the ad location above the forums would work? I would abviously wrap a usergroup conditional around the html? many thanks for reading |
One issue I noticed was that if you turn off the picture description it still says Description:. I fixed this by editing the adv_portal_album_pictures_bit template.
Find Code:
<br /> <strong>$vbphrase[description]</strong>: $picture[caption] Code:
<if condition="$mod_options['album_picture_description']"> |

And also, perhaps an addition to be able to select which albums from only a certain usergroup(s) appear. << Willing to pay $$ for this one if done correctly. |
Does anyone know if this mod will work on vBulletin 3.7.5?
|
I'm using it on 3.8.2
|
Thank you.
Is there anyway I can give permissions to few usegroups? Regards, |
Like many others, I too have been frustrated because I couldn't get this mod to display to unregistered users, despite setting Can View Albums in the usergroup permissions.
Well I found it!! Under Usergroups Permissions in the General Permissions section, there's a setting for "Can View Member Info" set that to yes and it works! |
Just reinstalled this on a 3.7 forum and the forum is now completely hosed... can't even get into AdminCP
