fyi... For the people having issues with this hack, I saw a similar one the other day. Can't remember what its called tho.

This works on 3.6.2, but with the same issue as above first post works fine after that no links on second post.

...and if you look at the link I gave above you'll see that all the posts are getting processed now. My PHP knowledge is limited though so I don't know what side affect this will have on the system.

You can also set the following to 0

$cached = 0;

This has the same effect as taking out the cahed statment.

Downside is it will hammer the server.

I've just installed this mod, but when I go into my AdminCP, all my forum manager and user manager seem to have disappeared. :confused:

Should this be linking posts that were already made before it was installed and is it case sensitive?

I'm still having a problem with some words not being linked.

This isn't working properly for me...

Most text isn't linked, when I edit the post, the text is linked, but if I refresh, it isn't linked again.

Ah, I see that it does in fact work but if I do a search for the keyword and select a post that contains that keyword it's not linked. If I view any post but not via a search, it's linked.

Is this normal? I guess the search results override the keyword result as it currently highlights it in bold and red.

(vBulletin 3.6.7 PL1) - does GAL lite work here?

I installed it, and its in my cpanel, I added a test replacement and it doesnt seem to do jack.

I also tried debug/rebuild or w/ever and no joy..

I am prob being a moron, but any ideas anyone?

i see some vbulletin forums (3.6.8) running some sort of autolinker- presumably there is some other autolinker software out there? I can't find mention of anything except GAL. Still want this functionality on my forum - can anyone help? argh.

Will this work with 3.6?

I had the OLD version on my 3.0 site but when we upgraded i oculdn't bring the geek and this was a really great mod, since my affiliates are often references in posts throughout my forums, so it's great to be able to autolink them.

EDIT: Just looked at the vbgeek site and it is available there for 3.6

So in the premium version, which I bought, is there a way to link directly to the pages versus going through a redirect like autolink.php which it is doing now.

Great hack. If I can get my lite version to work I will buy the pro version. I think this one is not supported but maybe one of you have had the same problem. For me some work and some don't. The ones that do work only work once. Go figure.
