The instructions for this hack are terrible, can anyone make heads or tails of this:

for example :

if we want to display it in the forumhome we need to put 'index' , for faq 'faq' , & we can display it in more than one page , you should add the page name between two '*' , ex : *index*, *faq*,*usercp* , & you must add this code into the templates wich we will add the banner to their pages , ex : if we want to add the banner to the faq page we need to edit 'faq' template and put this code '<br><center></center><br>' in place that you want banner display on it

comment *: we dont need to use this option for 'forumdisplay' or 'showthread' becouse we have another options

comment * :if want to display it in the addtional hack page you need to define the hack page before

Because I cant.

Can someone PLEASE explain whats need to place a banner in the home page, within threads and posts etc.

This hack is the worse hack I've seen yet.

Where in the instructions does it say to edit the showthread file never mind adding <br><center>$shir</center><br> to the showthread template.

it's exactly what i was looking for but slowed things down to much, and is difficult to get up and running as I did not get it to display an add but was working. thanks anyhow.

Is there an easy way to have the banner show in all forum without typing 1,2,3,4,5,6,7, etc. For people with large forums it becomes tedious to do for each. Also is there a way to set it so the you see the banner after every 6 posts for instant?

I installed this hack, and everything went smooth and it seems to work, but I still dont see any Ads anywhere - When i go to the forums that the ads are supposed to be in, the stats claim to have seen them, however. No Images were ever actually shown. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

You might be using the norton toolbar with adblocker... it takes out banner adverts...

Noooooo. That is not the problem. I checked on 2 other computers one of which does not have norton, and i also made sure that those things were disabled. And it has never prevented me from seeing ads on other sites.

This hack sucks, and now it just wastes space in the scripts and database tables. I cant get any support for it on here. I recently upgraded to vbulletin 3.07 and a few hacks stopped working.

Is there anyway somone can post an exact example of how to get the banner to show under the forumhome top center right under the header.

Same thing happened to me... I get loop too when I try to log in... Creative Suite.. can you help me please? I use Vbulletin 3.07. I also tried "fix_login.php" which was posted by someone in this forum.... but still failed.

but you have a mistake at adv.php at 43 line
must be this:
print "<META HTTP-EQUIV=Refresh CONTENT='0; URL=$rox[url]'> ";

and not this:
print "<META HTTP-EQUIV=Refresh CONTENT='0; URL=$rox[url];/'> ";

I went through the instillation procedures. Completed the steps as suggested. Am having a problem finding my adds. Also followed the instillation procedures provided in [installation-English-1.txt] file.

Also placed a sample add with the image [Adv Img Url] to an image file on my own webserver. But cant find any ad content.

Can anyone pls help. Can provide screen-shots of the same.

I'm on 3.07 too and i cannot see any banners though the number of times shown increases when i view the page.
