I didn't, but many of my members, they say after finishing level 10 it simply says Game Over

I am having a tad trouble in which upon researching I did not see anyone else claiming to have the same problem. I installed the hack as instructed to do so, however when going to the link placed on my board it takes me to the intergrated tetris.php page, I see where it should be, but the box is empty. There is no game and the page remains on 'opening page tetris.php' as seen in the status bar. What did I do wrong?

I'm wondering, is this software customizable? For instance, when a row clears, it takes some time for the row to fade, any way to speed that up? If not, no biggy.

Make sure you've downloaded Version 1.2, not 1.0 or 1.1 - check your "tetris" template - make sure the path to tetris.swf is correct (there are 2 occurrences of tetris.swf in that template). The correct path is "$bburl/tetris.swf". Make sure you have uploaded the tetris.swf file into your forums directory.

I have it as a sub-forum under my Games Forum. :)

As for customizing the game itself, the game I've been told is under GPL (General Public License) so it's in public domain - you can customize it with a Flash editor all you want.

Read the actions under Frame 5, it has all the licence information there :)

Ok, check out latest progress to the Flash file...

1. It checks the highest score and puts it in that little box :D
2. It displays the username and amount of points in the bottom right hand corner

Thats my customized Tetris. My graphics guy hasn't touched it yet, but it does its job. I want to change the graphics, but don't know how. (For instance, the "Start" button and the "GAME OVER" and "Pause").

Ok, in the large gap in the middle I've decided that it'd be good if users could leave comment on their score. So, if they get a score of 100,000, a user could leave the comment "Ha ha! I rule, you all suck!"

After they've finished their game of Tetris, they get the chance to enter their comment:

This is amazing. I really cannot wait for this great addon. If i come up with some music for this game like OLD SCHOOL TETRIS musci from the old games would u like to add that in? There could be an on and off button for the music or something. I think that would be some hot addon for this sucka. music from tetris on the c64 was the best in fact why not have a few tunes - throw action biker in as well ( i hated that tune as it stayed in me head all day LOL)

Wow, John, you've spent a lot of time adding stuff onto this hack! :) This is what this forum is about - people building on top of each others hack, improving one another's forums together.

A month or two back I didn't know the slightest thing about php, and now I'm coding all day!

Ok, time for another update.

The Store Addon Version of this hack is very close to completion, only a few minor bugs and details to finish off. The Tetris only version shouldn't be too hard to adapt, so I can get that done fairly quickly afterwards.

The comments system is working properly, and it's good ;)

I like the tetris 2 song you have John I would love it if you could add that. I would love you. lol. Well not liek that hahaha. add that if you can. That would be so so so hott. I really cannot wait for this hack to be done. Keep up the great work and keep us informed because I want to be one of the first ones to install this bad boy. Thanks again.

The biggest problem is that you can't import MIDI files into Flash, if I tried an mp3 it'd take ages to load. I have an idea tho...

By the way, are you waiting for the Store version or the standard version?

I am most definatley waiting for the store version. I really can't wait till that one is released. I am not to interested in the other version but is appreciated that you care about other members that want it as well.
