Hi, you can add a product without price? with a link to another page for example amazon?

If you want to run an ad indefinitely, what would you use in the listing lengths setup?

Not at the moment, though we intend to add a means to create a product without a price for exchange. It might be possible to add in a method of linking to another page. Post a suggestion in a thread at DBTech so that we can look at including that in a future update, maybe v2. :)

You can't yet run it indefinitely. But you could set it to a large number of days, which would effectively do the same thing.

We've had another report on the first issue which we've got fixed in the next update. :)

With regard to the second issue of thumbnails, are you certain that the image is not naturally that small? Does this happen with every non primary image?

I'm not aware of a German translation at the moment. The Trading (I assume you mean exchanging items) and free offers isn't yet in the mod, though we are working on some updates for version 2 over the next few weeks, so keep checking back. ;)

This week we have an update for DragonByte Classifieds (v1.1.6) which one or two issues mainly with the rewrites in Classifieds, but also reintroduces the ability to cancel listings via the Admin Control Panel and provides more details about cancelled items in the Listings Manger. Additionally a new feature now makes it possible to rename the dbtclassifieds.php file if required.

Thanks again to everyone who keeps us up to date with new ideas and any issues. We'll be working on getting some new features into Classifieds over the next few weeks as we head towards version 2.

I've fixed an issue with the XML that was creating the fatal PHP error. Downloading the package and then reimporting the XML should resolve the issue. :)

This week we have an bug fix update for DragonByte Classifieds (v1.1.7) fixes a MySQL error, some bad links when using a different file name and corrects the ordering of some search results.

Thanks again to everyone who keeps us up to date with new ideas and any issues. We've managed to trace and identify a couple of pesky bugs this week, and the help we get from everyones reports are invaluable. We've properly started work on version 2 and any new features or changes will be implemented into that version. any known issues with the bidding for the auctions. When a user click bid nothing happens.. after i hit it a few times and keep refreshing it will eventually show a bid was placed.. but when u click on the [1 bids] nothing happens. Should it show the list of bidders>?

Could it be that your server link via AJAX is slower than you are expecting? Slower server's might not update as quickly.

There is no way in the system to reactivate a cancelled listing. A user would simply have to relist his item (IIRC it can be done just with the relist option in their list of their own listings, though I've not yet done it from an admin cancelled listing).

To remove a purchase that hasn't been completed is something we will be adding into a future update. You can adjust the stock of the item to add an extra item (if there is existing stock), or relist again.

We've had a number of queries about dealing with problematic buyers/purchases and I've got on the cards some measures to help the sellers handle those awkward situations better. Will keep you all posted as we work through development of v2.

Hmmm... realized you were talking about Classifieds... I got mixed up and though you were asking about vBDonate... :D

There is no vB5 version of Classifieds atm, and I can't give you an eta on one either. Will keep you updated when there will be one. :)
