alibass, concerning fresh brand, I would be delighted to make my contribution and for your DBTech Thank you to DBTech |
Installed!
Any plans on adding a flood-check limit per usergroup? That would definitely make this the best PM mod ever. |
Getting this error message
NetworkError: 500 Internal Server Error - http://www.dreadsuk.com/clientscript/vbulletin_css/style00001l/dbtech_vbsuper_pm_postbit.css"dbtech_...bit.css using vb4.2.2 also posted here |

I can check that if you like... Update: I just installed this mod on my server, but didn't have any issue at all. I also searched for the missing .css file mentioned here, but such a file wasn't created!!! is that another mod?? |

Check server error log will give you better info and more on the error its self

when I disable and then enable the mod, this issue is gone, but then again shows up... I think it is better to disable this mod!! as for me, already uninstalled!! maybe I will use Ozzy's mod instead PMspy... |

Interesting I don't have that file name in my style folder.
I have dbtech_vbsuper_pm_notif.css Also I'm curious if fxdigi-cash is using custom styles? |

no there is no such css file dbtech_vbsuper_pm_postbit.css, I check that many times. possibly it is a typo by the coder!! The funny part is that both images do exist in the folder dbtech/ not sure if the coder meant something else... |
In the error you posted above it is showing 41 not 4l. I have them files in all my style files even the default one
|
not really!!!
here it is again: HTML Code:
2014/07/08 05:31:57 [error] 2854#0: *7714 open() "/www/public/clientscript/vbulletin_css/style00004l/dbtech_vbsuper_pm_postbit.css" failed (2: No such file or directory), client: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx, server: www.xxxxxx.com, request: "GET /clientscript/vbulletin_css/style00004l/dbtech_vbsuper_pm_postbit.css try to type both "l" letter and 1 number in the bbcode and you will see the difference. This is a little tricky and I fell in the same mistake at first, but found out they are not the same.... :D |
Yes, I see, yes its a l not a one it comes through as a 1 in the html code when it's posted like that. Ok so you don't have a folder with that name
|
'L' for Left to Right, to shed a little light on the subject. :)
|
left to right? of what
|

direction=rtl first one means Left to Right 2nd one means Right to Left it is a css property, mate :) |
I did understand I was only messing with tbworld :p

I have this mod for a long time now, but I found a bug rather boring.
The block of PMs works only if the user use the browser. If anybody use tapatalk can send any type of PM. How can solve it? Thanks |
That is not a bug in the mod, that is a issue with Tapatalk not loading the required hooks for quite a few mods to run. :(

I know that for the moment there are few mods, but I would like to upgrade to it :) |
This mod is not available for vB5, there is only a handful of mods available for it.
|
I'm mobile so unable to install.
Does this mod do threaded PMs? If so, can it be the default for all members. If so, take my money. |
Anyone?
|
I don't believe threaded PMs is a feature at this time, sorry :(
Fillip |
Hey, thanks for sharing this mod. Really appreciate it.
Does it have the option to send a PM after user posts a new thread? e.g. *posts new thread* PM sent & reads: "Thanks for posting that thread!" |
I don't believe so, sorry :(

Bug in vBulletin 4.2 CMS:
When modifying a Static HTML widget, it will become corrupt and no longer work. The widget must be deleted and re-created. Temporary solution is to disable VBSuper.PM before modifying the widget. |
This is not an issue I've been able to replicate. Can you please try disabling all other modifications, and if it still exhibits this behaviour, provide step-by-step instructions on how to replicate this issue?

Yes Dave is probably correct.
It appears as if you have uploaded the files incorrectly. Please drag and drop the contents of the upload folder (use Ctrl+A to select all files) to your public_html folder. https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2015/01/19.png |
thanks! I will try again!
|
Sure thing, let us know how it goes. :)
|
It contains 2 folders
1. Upload 2. XML I upload as you said the first into the public.html Should i do something with the second? I just upload it with in the ACP. Still gives me the same message |
So in your FTP, navigate to includes/xml folder, and see if you have a file called, bitfield_dbtech_vbsuper_pm.xml
|
No it's not there!
What should i do? Thanks! |
