Is there any way to put the preview or the latest pictures in the Forum Blocks Manager and put it at the very top of the forums?? PLEASE HELP

Just a follow up. How can I display the albums at the top of the the forums? I think this can draw attention from other members if they see the latest pictures. Please?

Hmm would be perfect if it said number of comments on each image. Anyone know I could do this?

Image processing library is set to GD. GD module is installed on my server.

"attachments" directory has 777 recursively as well.

Here's the thing, if I click the picture title link in any of those blank thumbnail boxes the pictures do show.

I think will be really useful the opportunity to add a link to follow, when you click on an image, that by default, open the larger image, but if you want you will have the opportunity to redirect that click in another part.

Also the opportunity to decide if you need to add or not a little comment immediately down the thumbnail like a link or a little description will be great.

Will be also great if will be possible to manage in different ways all the category.
The settings that there are now, affect all categories...

So if I want to point two buttons that link 2 different galleries sections, now I always see in the same way, so will be good to personalize each visualization of the gallery.

For example
in one page/section I want show some premium photo in one way (for example 10 each page)
and in another I want show some others photo but in a different way (for example 50 each page)

I think it will be really a great mod if you add this features. ;)

I downloaded this and I'm trying to install it on (VBulletin 4.2.0 Patch Level 3).
I uploaded it to the root folder and when I go to import the .xml file, it tells me "invalid file"...I tried it both ways...uploading it from my pc and importing it from the root folder...neither will work...I edited the "album_edit" template also...But it will not import the .xml file...Any help would be greatly appreciated..I also tried it with "allow overwrite" and without "allow overwrite"...

I got it installed and it looks great!...Maybe for any future updates, you can think about adding a watermark maker so users can add a watermark to their pictures to prevent theft...That would be a great feature...

This modification has not been updated since June of 2012.

I really like this product, but we have one problem with it.

When it is opened by a user from the NavBar, it takes so long to show that many users think something is broken. I suspect the problem is the size of our attachments since they are displayed as an album in the gallery.

Does anyone have ideas on how to spped up the launch by loading enough images to work with and then continue buffering in the background?

Of course that may not be the problem. I have not done anything to analyze the behavior.

It takes nearly 30 seconds to open the application. We have 210,000+ attachments in the Attachments Gallery.

Just testing this. It looks promising, but I just get a blank white page if I attempt to load the gallery from a mobile style. Is that normal? If so, has anybody out there developed mobile templates for this to fix that?

Pictures Watermark? also can a photo album strip be added under header on main page? Hope that works for v4.2.2

Why is impossible to see all the images loaded but only very few under "Latest Images".
The tab to set how images must stay there is not working.
I set 10.000 and are shown only few images, but there are many more.

I am not sure what youo want. "Latest" has a count associated with it. Why would you want to display all images there? Did you create categories to hold images? Are your attachments displayed in the Gallery?

I never use the latest images feature but I just checked it and on my board it showed the most recent 100 pictures.

I then edited the entry in AdminCP under vBGallery by Scandal to 200 and now it shows 200. I am concerned that if I set it to 10,000 it will take an hour or two to load. :)
