Perfect! Works 1000% :D great job , thanks.
|
Nominated for MOTM. AME's tool couldn't fully convert but this did the job.
|
As long as the format is:
Code:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=#####&feature=#### HTML Code:
http://www.youtube.com/feature?v=#####&watch=#### |
Quote:
Go to Settings > Auto Youtube Link Converter, change the following values: As new regex code: Code:
/<a href=\"https?:\/\/((.+\.youtube\.com\/((watch)|(feature))\?v=)|(youtu\.be\/))([a-zA-Z0-9-_]+)(.*)?\"( target=\"_blank\")?>.*<\/a>/ |
Very Nice :)
|
Nice, any possibility of making it convert the links on the vbadvanced page ?
|
Added and install - Thanks
|
Thanks
|
Excellent! Very nice!
|
not to be rude, But isn't this pretty much what AME does?

Pick the one you need/want, altough it is fact that you become more beautiful and intelligent if you pick my modification over AME. |

So it appears AME is no longer being developed. If this mod could continue where AME has left off (auto linking other video sites, and more importantly, capture/regrex page titles for using in the video url linking), that would be awesome. :) |

You could try to remove blank lines and whitespaces in the first and last lines, but apparently in all other vbulletin versions, this mod works. Not sure what could be wrong with your vb installation |
Excellent!
work on 4.2 |
Perfect product!
But why this one ignores forum permission "Allow [VIDEO] tag"? |
Works great in 4.1.2
I had to ditch AME3 as it was causing our vb4 to load MASSIVELY and we have a huge dedicated server with just our VB on there (almost 2 million posts and over 55,000 members - so those that say AME3 is working just fine for vb4 are talking sh!t or doesn't have a busy board) - used it on vb3.x for years with no issues - a shame cus it was a really great mod and is hugely underrated as being useful for vb4 - just becuase vb4 has a video button doesn't mean its bloated and an extra step in the posting process) thanks so much for this script - its very leans and is a great base for doing similar parse requirements too. I also like the mobile browser detected snippet - will come in handy. Thanks again. |
Hi man, great mod, but i need change the size of the youtube window, how i do?

works like a champ; vB 4.2.0 PL 2
thanks, i was missing AME |
Dev: You mentioned earlier that you would be willing to fix CMS/VbaCMPS functionality, (links don't parse into videos), if you were given admin access to a forum with those features. I'm willing to give said access if it means it will work in these areas.

Would it take a lot of work to make this work in vb 3.8.x?
|
this works perfectly on 4.2 patch level 2.
Thank you! |

Would you want to try it out on a test forum if it works? |
I'd give it a try.
|
This add-on breaks the built-in vBulletin video bbcode for Facebook videos: see Posting videos from facebook.
