Thanks for the update.

arrse 11-01-2010 12:53 PM

Nice update - particularly loving the way that column width is maintained across all categories.

Okay.. Uninstall followed by a fresh install fixed the issue.

Hello, got the follow mistake after upgrade:

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2010/11/48.jpg

in acp i configure 3 lines. but sometimes i see 1 or 2 lines and than a new line with the sub-forums.

OldSchoolDSL 11-02-2010 01:26 AM

Works flawlessly in 4.0.8

Thank you for this Mod :)

jluerken 11-03-2010 11:10 AM

Problem in vb4.0.8
I disabled showing the text "subforum" in front of the subforum listings.
If I have a main forum now it is not showing the text for the first one but not for the rest.

Example:

CATEGORY
forum1
-- subforum1
-- subforum2
forum2
<subforumtext>--subforum1
subforum2

If I disable this option the text should also not be visible in forum2 or? ^^

Kraxell 11-03-2010 11:10 AM

push this to the buttom :D

Valter, any idea how i can fix it?

Valter 11-04-2010 09:51 PM

v3.1.1 - Nov 05. 2010.
-Fixed: Sorting issues
-Fixed: Unneeded thread/reply counts in friendly URLs

To upgrade:
-Import product XML, allow overwrite

OldSchoolDSL 11-04-2010 11:50 PM

Thank you for updating this and for your continued support on this mod :)

GeorgeB85 11-05-2010 02:23 AM

One small thing I would like to see is the ability to be able to place the subforums next to one another. Currently they sit on top of each other.

I am not sure up the update code may still have issues getting same error when I change under
SubForum Manager options add the following code to the "CSS 2" text field to increase space

Please also check screen shots

Code:

padding-right:25px;

I have exactly the same. Last subforum gets text added "Sub forums" even if turned off in the admincp. Please update!

Hey

Great mod!

One issue that has occurred since this new update is that on my forum where it lists the moderators they are now listed in a column as opposed to straight across. The only thing I have updated is this mod.

Attached is how it looked before this update and after

Also, I realize that in the after you see the sub-forums title being shown but the moderator list happens regardless.

mmackinnon 11-30-2010 08:59 PM

Hello?

Mikevet1984 12-02-2010 04:47 AM

Can sb please explain what the CSS 1 - main is used for and what are we supposed to write in this field. An example please to understand what this is all about.

Me too. I disabled the mod due to new moderator list alignment. How can we solve this?

When updating, will my already setup setting be kept or must I re-apply?

To answer my own question.... YES

Updated and working fine on 4.0.8 Patch Level 2

onehost 12-15-2010 09:24 PM

4.1 PL2 = OK

Very nice mod. my subs were looking like crap, this is much better,
professional looking categories indeed.

Suggestion: Would be nice if I can set certain categories for how many rows...
some categories I have enough that would warrant two rows...smaller
categories would only warrant 1 row....would flow better...

noteviz 12-16-2010 09:49 AM

Thanks for this nice mod, but I've a problem. Wenn I have a subforum of the subforum itself, it's like in the picture when I go to the subforum:

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/

This failure occurs only in the last sub-sub-forum.

espaciored 12-19-2010 10:20 PM

Many Thanks Mate. Keep it up! :)

ZexTasy 12-25-2010 09:41 PM

I have an idea: Can you create separate settings for forums and categories? For forums that can contain threads I choose for example 2 columns, since I have thread info and last post info there. But forums that act as categories I would like to divide them into more columns, for example 4. or none at all ...

Randomm 12-28-2010 02:21 AM

Nominated, rated 5 stars, and installed.
Thanks

stickskills 01-07-2011 05:25 PM

Yeah, running into the same issue as the user above. Won't work on any template for me, using 4.0.2, and already set the depth of sub-forums.

motorola 01-08-2011 03:40 PM

Installed on 4.1.0 PL2 and works fine at the momment. Thanks

Umm why not just alphabetize them in your admincp? Its not like subforums should change often enough it'd need automatic alphabetizing.

TeknoSounds 01-13-2011 07:08 AM

Seems to be working for 4.1.1 as seen on my dev board, just have some fine tuning to do style-wise:
http://dev.teknosounds.com/messageboard/forum.php

(except for the previously mentioned sub-sub-forum issue where the last one doesn't display properly)

bintoro 01-14-2011 07:57 AM

I just install and uninstall between the mod of sub-forum here and the other one. Seems that here is more option to do. But, frankly for me as i just practice to use vb for three weeks now, i can not make the line become straight and in order. Seems the other one is easier.
Hope I know how to re-adjust it. Anyway, thanks.

Craig2 01-19-2011 09:22 AM

Will it be possible in the future, to choose different columns for each categorie - for example: categorie1 = 2 columns, categorie2 = 3 columns, categorie3 = no columns (old style) or can you or someone else send me a price for this option?
