SUGGESTION:

In the next update, would you consider adding an option for the "
Goal Amount for Month, Year?" section? It would be really nice to have a "one off" where we can ask for donations for one specific thing instead of aiming for a month/year goal.
And a dream feature would be able to have more than one donation type. For example, have a donation goal for site expenses and then a donation goal for a member who had a mishap and we want to raise funds for a gift.

disable all your plugins... see if it still happens. Then start to re-enable them one by one and see which one it causes the error. It was advanced forum permission for me

Having an issue with the Donate link in the navbar. On forum home it is fine, but when I view a particular forum or post, it becomes a double link.

I haven't altered a thing...

EDIT: Its conflicting with the MicroNewsletter Mod, may be a template hook problem.

IS there a way that we could have permissions setup so that only a certain permission level could setup a subscription and everyone else would just be able to donate? We have kind of a unique requirement with dues for members on our website, but we also need to be able to accept donations from other people.

jJust installed on a site and had first member donate and all worked great except for when he finished with paypal he was redirected back to the site but somewhere in the FAQ section.

Is there a spot where the redirect address is to see where its directing people to and can it be changed?

I get this even on the Forums Home page. Not surprisingly, I get the double links with VSa Advanced Forum Rules as well. Nice to know that microNEWSLETTER is the cause, but I'm not sure I want to give up using it. So, I found a workaround. I use vbh add new tabs 1.2 to create tabs to the Donate page and the Rules page, and turn off the navbar links. This not only removes the problem with the double links, but it also makes the Donate and Rules tabs visible on the entire site, not just the forums. (That's something of a pet-peeve of mine with many of the vB4 mods!) So, I've killed two birds with one mod... :D

Anyone got the code for putting in a widget ?

QUESTION:

My donation bar has been at 150% for a long time now.. its set to restart the bar every month...but I have a feeling that more than a month had already past....although I aint sure, how can I check to see if more than a month has passed since I installed it or SOMEHOW to check if its functioning right?

So far, it's working very well for me. However, is there any way to disable the (User: xxxxxxxx) that appears on the PayPal page? I'm using this for a political campaign web site, and a significant number of the donors will not be registered members at the site. So that particular feature isn't of much use to me, and seeing (User: unregistered) on the PayPal page might confuse some people.

And how can i add the donation button to the tabsbar. so its visible in CMS and Forum?!

I seem only able to see confirmed payements in the the list, all those that are unconfirmed are there database wise but not shown back in the list. Nor do I have an edit/manual add function.

Any one has an idea ?

You must be a member of usergroup 6 to view unconfirmed donations.

Worked well until a few days ago, now when members donate they are not directed to my donation email but simpy to the paypal login page.

And yes I have my correct email address set in options

I am the board admin, in usergroup #6 and whenever someone donates, nothing shows up on the "view donations" page. I'm forced to manually enter the users id number and amount. There are more than a handful of us now experiencing the same issue. Do you think there is a resolution?

Used to work for me too, now user just gets a login page. Seems PayPal has changed something on their end perhaps?

Advanced Permissions was the culprit
Will now need to look for a similar mod to this as it is a great help in reducing problems

Have had to disable the Donate mode though until the issues above are resolved

I love your mods... have used many of them over the years. Have marked this one installed and tagged it. I understand that we all have other lives outside of vBulletin. With that said... you've supported this mod with one sentence since March 7. That's 3 weeks with one sentence which did not help any of us experiencing the issue of not having new donations show up on the "view donations" page when completed.

I know you're busy, I know you have other mods which need your attention, but please assist.

Is there anyway to setup the paypal donation as a gift through this mod?

Personal gifts don't take any money from the transaction, so if it is a true donation and not for a service it really helps out.

Would it possible to add the feature to automatically tally-up subscriptions bought via the default "payments.php" script into the donations bar?

After Installing this mod, I receive the error:

If I go to one of the subforums from a link there is no problem. It looks like the issue is with the
forumdisplay.php file, but not sure

Anyone have any ideas?

I've installed VSA - PayPal Donate and everything runs ok.

I would now like to attach a specific user groups with Donate.

The user groups I give as donor names. These user groups (ID: 14).

Just as I'm understanding, I have to enter in the ID VSA - PayPal Donate.

That's what I made, but after a test donation of 1 Euro is the test user remained so as he was

As soon as one user has donated what, he should belong to the donator grupp. But this does not happen.

Remove the comma and select Move instead of Add if you want Donator usergroup to be primary usergroup.

How can I get the donat ebutton on the navbar on the frontpage of the CMS?
Currently it is up only on the Forum page.....

One thing that would make this awesome is having an option to create a sidebar box with a progress bar rather than having the large progress bar appear under the navbar.
