Installed and working perfectly. Fantastic mod, thank you.

Any chance of some form of arcade integration? New high score gets shouted or something along those lines?

Valter 02-08-2010 08:58 PM

v3.0.1 - Feb 09. 2010.
-Fixed: Wrong title alignment in box/archive tables
-Fixed: Wrong expand/collapse button alignment in Safari
-Fixed: Wrong 'Smilies' alignment
-Fixed: XHTML errors
-New Setting: List templates where "{vb:raw vsachatbox}" will be enabled

To upgrade:
-Import product XML, allow overwrite

Valter 02-08-2010 08:59 PM

To add to desired template (example FORUMHOME):
1. Add 'index' to THIS_SCRIPT locations (Product options)
2. Add 'FORUMHOME' to template names (Product options)
3. Open 'FORUMHOME' template and put "{vb:raw vsachatbox}" to desired line (for example after '<!-- /main -->') -> Save

Note:
Currently this does not work on CMS.

TimberFloorAu 02-08-2010 09:05 PM

Thanks but still get errors when promoting to article

Valter 02-08-2010 09:06 PM

NOTE: Most of fixes has been made in templates, so revert hack templates when upgraded to 3.0.1.

Edit:
Error when promoting to articles will be fixed when someone gives me admin access to their forum.
I can not fix it on my forums as I don't get these errors.

k1klass 02-08-2010 09:08 PM

maidos 02-08-2010 09:42 PM

thanks anywhere how to remove Status animation below the chatbox display, i want the feature removed completely

is it also possible to have the msg alligned to the usernames because theres memers with long names and if they post a msg all msgs will be extended aswell and usernames with short name will just be too wierd to readd as it will leave a huge space btw the names and msg

xoclanes 02-08-2010 09:52 PM

CHROME: Loading... forever
IExplorer: no problems...

TimberFloorAu 02-08-2010 10:04 PM

RedFoxy 02-08-2010 10:08 PM

I use it on chrome and it goes without troubles

cory_booth 02-08-2010 10:16 PM

Question:

Can this be enabled in the CMS? I can't get this running in the CMS neither by inserting into VBCMS_PAGE template nor by creating a JS widget and making a seperate template.

Skreech94 02-08-2010 10:20 PM

Yeah, my smilies thing is under the Underline, Bold, and Italic options.

ek_col 02-08-2010 10:25 PM

which is better chat box or chat VSa GCBOS chatbox? Which consumes less server resources and does not return the forum so slow?

Thanks

You sent hom access to see the create article error?

woffie 02-08-2010 10:35 PM

The smilies thing is still behind the italic and underline control. Also the CMS error is still there.

I don't know about speed and server resources, but personally I think VSa is way more user friendly.

woffie 02-08-2010 10:37 PM

Even after uninstall I get the following error when trying to promote an post to article

Warning: unserialize() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in [path]/packages/vbcms/controller/content.php(84) : eval()'d code on line 6

Good thing it is only on my test forum.

cory_booth 02-08-2010 10:39 PM

VSA is a much more "normal" chatbox - but GCBOS framework is simpler and I had it running in the CMS easily. But I did not like the "typewrite" effect.... AND I am still looking for a chatbox with sound alerts. MCG has taken over development of MCG Chatbox and that might be the best option - however... MCG has ALOT of overhead...

I may dump all these box chats and go with arrowchat once it is released.

Cobra-J82 02-08-2010 10:40 PM

VSa - ChatBox (AJAX) is awsome, exactly what u need ;)

Cobra-J82 02-08-2010 10:41 PM

still having smilies problem anyway
im runing ie8 compatibility off

balkanboy 02-08-2010 10:41 PM

shit ur right promote to article is totally gone wrong..... disabled plugin and product which is now working normal please release a fix :)

teat 02-08-2010 11:11 PM

Okay I love this, but it says, "Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing." How do I fix this?

vexvegaz 02-08-2010 11:15 PM

If you read through the thread you would see that the promote/create article issue is not new and was a problem from first release.

armthehomeless1 02-08-2010 11:48 PM

Upgraded and now when I go to submit a message I get this error:

Quote:

Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing.

If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error.

armthehomeless1 02-08-2010 11:53 PM

Ok, reverted template and it seems to work.

$65.00 for something that is not as good as free, I don't think so. That is the pre-sale price without any kind of demo. Since this is the second time you have metioned this in this thread I assume that you must have some kind of connection to the people who made it or I should say are making it.

Trek 02-09-2010 12:19 AM

Getting the following error when trying to add an article in the CMS:

Code:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare vsacb_userexcluded() (previously declared in /home/XXXXX/public_html/packages/vbcms/controller/content.php(84) : eval()'d code:64) in /home/XXXXX/public_html/packages/vbcms/controller/content.php(84) : eval()'d code on line 64

HansMuenchen 02-09-2010 12:24 AM

Hello,

the color dropdown is not working also after the update into Safari browser:
So you can choose the colors and if you click one you also see it but the dropdown is complete white. It would be nice if that can be changed (see also screenshot).

Think what you may, but you'd be wrong in that assumption. As you can tell from my post, I have dabbled with just about every chatbox you can think of - to include...
FlashChat, ASPChat (yes ASP - you'd be surprised what you can do with cookies), 123Chat, ProChatRooms, Off-Site Chats, CYBChat, Inferno, MCG Chat (which I paid for and mentioned it is in the process of being updated), as well as GCBOS (which I gave props too as well) and many many others... I hope this chat does work out great, it is the best "normal" chatbox released yet (for 4.0) - albeit with a few kinks. However my users demand an alert sound (which seems minor to some developers and is rarely found in these types of chat engines - minus MCG Chat) and I look for a chat I can easily integrate across the entire site without a lot of template problems - like the arcade, gameroom, photopost addons and other content (which is why I mention other addons such as arrowchat) - So yes, I mention it because had not someone mentioned it in a similar post here - I would not have known it existed....

balkanboy 02-09-2010 02:30 AM

mmm if i was too pay i most certainly will purchase arrowchat....which btw looks promising so tempted to purchase a chat system like Facebook which should be accessible on any page.... mmmmmmm

JAFRI 02-09-2010 02:44 AM
