Why do you have so much backlinks?

Read the Terms of Use in the original post guys.

This plugin is paid for by creating the links back to my site. There is only one link per page, and you can choose if it appears in the plugin itself or in the footer of the forum.

If you are not happy with that, then uninstall the plugin.

Except for test11111?

You still have a test entry in there.

So it still needs fixing.

Is there a way to just remove this or zero it out?

Peace,
Gene

can you make this for vB version 3.8.4? I will really use this mod on vBulletin 3.8.4 because it is 100% working.

Code:

$seoqueries->searchterms_stats = TABLE_PREFIX .'seoqueries_terms_stats';

        $_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER'] = 'http://google.com/?q=test11111?';

        $vbulletin->options['copyrighttext'] .= " working";

plugin forum seoqueries init start up line 250

daveaite 02-01-2010 12:48 PM

eek. This mod that inserts it's own footer + uses its own seo keywords on index on install. Do those default keywords go away with time? /me senses that this mod is better for the creators SEO than mine xD Nice work though

Uninstalled for now

Gnoll 02-01-2010 01:14 PM

Edit : i didnt used 1.06 , i'll test it too , forgive

100% agree with you there.
Thanks for the work so far!!

Have you considered creating a link-free version, paid-for?
I am sure there are lots of people that would pay for that (me included!).
:)

Your latest version isn't working, it's not adding any new keywords to the database and it's just putting test11111? on every page

People are moaning saying it's doing nothing for them and only helping your SEO because it's giving you free back links on every page and doing nothing for them in return because it's not adding the keywords to the threads, the first version worked fine but the last few versions are not working

It's not noticeable for people who have upgraded from working versions because it keeps all their old keywords so it;s hard to notice it's not adding new ones, but anyone that installed it from scratch will not get any benefit from the latest versions

Also pagination isn't making anything any faster in the view statistics section of the control panel, it's making a new page for every thread, and if it's putting the test11111? keyword on every single page of the forum it needs to build all those pages....

If you removed exactly what I described and left everything else alone, the addon should work. It's working for me on a few pages that are high on Google. I can take screenshots if you want.

New Version Just Released - Please Un-install This From Your Board, And Re-install The New Version.

Click Data So Far Will Be Lost, Sorry, But Its Unavoidable...

The New Version However Is:

Much Quicker
Easier To Modify Styles
Has Much, Much Better Reporting
Uses Less Server Load...

FreeResellers 02-02-2010 02:34 PM

Installed and it is working.
I am wondering if I could get rid of your copyright tho? I can pay for it.

*edit: Uninstalled, your link is all over the place!

Its either in the plugin box (so its not obvious) or in the footer (if you dont want it in the plugin box).

This Isn't compatible with vbseo, it takes the forum offline completely you can't even access the admincp

Code:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '*' in /home/*******/public_html/forums/includes/init.php(331) : eval()'d code on line 289
not sure why you would even make a mod that affects the admincp

Marv 02-02-2010 03:20 PM

Have you implemented the conditionals so Google doesn´t identify those sites as some kind of keyword landing pages ? Don´t wanna loose my SERP´s.. Would be great if you did that trick already.

sorry, it IS compatible with vbseo - my board seoforums.org runs both...

whats your URL? what version of Vbulletin, what version of vbseo etc...

Yes it's not vbseo i tried dissabling it and it's still giving the same errors
www.devils-shadow.com/forums
latest version ov vbseo installed, and latest version of vbulletin installed, i've removed the tables from the database and removed the product files now i'm getting

Code:

Unable to add cookies, header already sent.
File: /home/wwwdevi/public_html/forums/includes/init.php(331) : eval()'d code
Line: 289

You've put so many unnecessary template edits trying to create backlinks to your own sites that it can't be restored with no access to the admincp

My forums completely offline and my database is useless because or your template edits
the only thing i can access is the vbseo control panel by going to vbseocp.php

I viewed a cached version of your site on google and it shows you are running 4.0 not 4.0.1 so perhaps that may be the cause of the problem

No i'm defiantly running the latest version, check the cached version of www.devils-shadow.com/forums/content/

bongwater 02-02-2010 05:11 PM

Try FTP'ing the contents of the includes folder that came with the latest version of vb. In particular, copy and overwrite the /includes/init.php file and restore to the original and see if that works

thats the first thing i tried, the only way i can think of fixing it now is to create a new forum on a different database, the switch the template database with my existing one

Try globally disabling all your plugins in your includes/config.php file by adding the line
Code:

define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true)
and see if that gives you admincp access

That gives me:

Code:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/wwwdevi/public_html/forums/includes/config.php on line 193
I'm getting sql error emails aswell:

What are you using to edit the php files?

Did you install the Product xml?

bongwater 02-02-2010 05:37 PM

I am not a coder or the author of this plugin, and I doubt that your database files were corrupted. Problem appears to be changes to your config files that are causing this. If you can isolate those config files and try restoring them (to the version before you added this plugin), you'll be in the right direction without having to do a full restore from backup

I don't think it's modified any of the files stored on my server, it's modified a global template, and without access to the admin cp i don't think i can revert the styles or uninstall the plugin

Notepad for the win. If you had said wordpad or word, that would have explained the errors.

Sorry I can't be of any help. :(
