psypix 04-26-2010 05:39 PM

You are a star! I will try it later tonight and report back.

Just out of intrest.. which stylevar was it? I spent most of yesterday pulling out my hair trying to find it.

psypix 04-26-2010 06:36 PM

It works great! Thank you very much. I have a few more small suggestions if you don't mind?

Your styles looks excellent on my site. I will share my site as a demo when I am done with the updates. I made some changes others might like too :)

Facebook Connect isn't showing the buttons on the White Pixel theme

daveaite 05-04-2010 01:48 AM

This should work for vbulletin 4.03, please state any errors otherwise.

Unsure of the facebook connect issue, i'll take a look.

Markos 05-04-2010 05:43 PM

in my chatbox the text is white on white how do i change the input box to black ??

Itchy Nips 05-04-2010 06:54 PM

great styles!

when I enter a new title (for a new thread), the color for that field is almost black while its active. As soon as you click off of it, it goes white. How do I change that black color? Its hard to see what you've typed.

thanks

blue pixels. if its as easy as changing something in 'stylevars', I can change it myself but I just didnt know where it was.

docvader 05-05-2010 10:46 PM

Stylvars, Common,,, control_focus_background. Change it to a color, wipe out the png file box. it will fix the thread title issue.

daveaite 05-06-2010 03:25 AM

Either I am too tired to follow directions or I do not see the Grid at all!!

1st post - first page - and I don't see an attachment section.

Can someone post a screen shot of where it's at? I would like to get my CMS layout back to normal. It's pushed all the way to the right.

Thanks in advance.

Here's the link to my site with the issue:
http://wmriders.com/vbulletin/index.php

daveaite 05-08-2010 08:42 AM

Go into vBulletin CMS and try applying a different grid using Layout Manager

bvrider1 05-08-2010 02:20 PM

I downloaded a bunch of grids and I can't get anyone of them to work with the whitecar style. Can't anyone just post up what they use for a grid??

daveaite 05-10-2010 07:14 PM

These themes use the same image folder so just add them.vBulletin

2.Open FTP Upload the contents of the folder "upload" into their respective folders:

"premiumpixel" folder should go in /forum/images/ or root/images/
"login" folder should go in forum/login or root/login

3.Open Admincp > Styles and Templates > Upload Styles

4. Upload the PremiumPixel.xml you want, Rename it as you want.
(Include Parent Styles) Overwrite yes

5. Done!

bvrider1 05-11-2010 01:15 AM

I like your styles but still no luck with a grid that works. The whitecar has column one way too wide. Still need help.

Contact me via MSN or email
dave@buypoe.com. You'll have to give me admin access for help.

Having the same issue as bvrider1, and I don't see any grid to download.

http://cbrriders.com/forum.php?styleid=8

Check the 'Home' tab.

Also, on the register page, the text about birth date is barely readable, and the time at the bottom of the forum isn't visible at all.

daveaite 05-11-2010 05:56 AM

All grids changed and .XMLs re-uploaded. Let me know if it works

Big-Pete 05-11-2010 11:50 AM

I like the changes, One question though, where is the grids xml??

daveaite 05-11-2010 12:09 PM

Are you having grid issues? I switched in new grids (built into the theme) Let me know if you have problems

JaredC01 05-11-2010 05:47 PM

I'm still having the same issue on the CMS... All the way to the right. Deleted the old style and uploaded the new XML.

http://cbrriders.com

bvrider1 05-11-2010 11:43 PM

I also download the new "space" style and uploaded the new xml. Same issue with the right column being too wide. I will email you with a user account so we can figure out why this is happening.

bvrider1 05-12-2010 12:46 AM

One thing I noticed is that all your screenshots are of the "forum" and not of the "CMS"

If your CMS looks fine with these styles couldn't you just flatten the grid and post up the code so we all can use it??

I would think that would be an easier route vs. giving you admin access to my server.

Just an idea, seems more then a few people are asking for this grid.

Thank you for your help.

Edit:

I think I fixed it. Themes all uploaded again. Please download the latest .xml's if your having grid problems or are new to seeing Premium Pixel

bvrider1 05-12-2010 06:00 AM

I just downloaded the new xml..... Still the same issue.

http://wmriders.com/vbulletin/content.php

I have the "whitespace" style saved as "test" under my style chooser.

You can see where the column is way too big vs the default vbulletin style.

JaredC01 05-12-2010 06:00 AM

Still not working.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: The theme is nice, but it messes up my cms all the way to the right or left.
A: Upload Grid found in attachments. Use that one.
Go to Grid > AdminCP > Grid Manager > Download/Upload Grid

You can apply grids that your downloaded when making your Layout which is found : Admincp > Layout Manager > Choose current Layout > Go > Change grid to the downloaded grid.

I dont see the grid xml in your attachments, where do I find it?

Still not working properly on my board. The grid adds 2x 50% width columns, but the third is nowhere to be found. For right now, all of the standard layouts work side any 3 column layout, so I'm going to stick with a different default grid. A 2 column with sidebar works properly as well, so I'm thinking the issue lies in the third column somewhere.

Big-Pete 05-12-2010 06:07 PM

Im still using the same grid I've used since changing to VB4 in December, Its 2 column + sidebar (25% 75% x 240px) and its ok with Pixel

bvrider1 05-12-2010 07:03 PM

Sweet!!!! It finally works. I used a 2 column 25/75

the left column is not too large and is the same size as the default VB styles.

daveaite 05-13-2010 01:11 AM

Wooo!
