In user profile with sidebar on images are on top of the sidebar.

This mod can't control the size of the images that you allow.

You could try using another mod on top of it like this one though - https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=230411 ;)

Would be great if we can choose to display the sidebar in forumdisplay only, or showthread only.

how to i go to its option and do all this setting.

* The sidebar will be displayed everywhere in the forum.
* With more than 20 setting you can enable and disable sidebar very easily on any any page.

* You can show sidebar for all or show it for non members.
* Now you don't have to enable sidebar from option. Enabling this mod will enable sidebar everywhere. But you need to set sidebar blocks from "forum blocks manager".

this looks great and I`ll certainly use it when I switch to vB4. You have already included many config-options. I think it would be useful if you could add a feature that allows the users which blocks to display in their usercp. Every user has different interests and this way they could customize the side-bar to fit their needs.

You can't this from vbulletin defaults

It can be done but requires a lot of work

How To Add Blocks To Sidebar:
From your admincp click on "Forums & Moderators" then click "Forum Blocks Manager". Hit "Add Block" you will see a dropdown list of block types. Select the type of block you want and hit continue. Now set your block and save. You are done and this new block should be shown on your sidebar.

Here is my problem hope someone can help!

On my forums main page the blocks do not appear, when i click on a topic (any topic) they appear just fine without any problems.

I uninstalled it and then re installed the XML file and still the same thing. nothing appears on the main forum page but yet still appears just fine on the rest of the topics lol.. no i guess no sidebars appear either way on the home page. how do i enable that first?

The sidebar at homepage should be visible without installing the mod, this is default vbulletin sidebar. Please uninstall the mod then see if the sidebar is showing ok on your homepage. If it is not showing as it should this means something wrong with your forum.

After uninstalling the mod make sure that the sidebar is enabled from
admincp->options->Forum Sidebar and Block Options.

Any chance the side-bar feature can be extended to work across blogs and the CMS side of things too? I particularly would find it useful for the CMS side of the VB 4.x Suite but I'm sure others may find it useful in the blogging section too.

I don't think you need to do this just install the mod as instructed.

The demo you can see it at http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/ see the on the right hand side abox that can be closed and opend this is called sidebar. This what this mod will do but it will do it everywhere not just the forumhome :)

Right, this would only apply if you made some custom pages. In which case you would know where they are.

Any update about The ability to set different blocks for different forums?

Excellent Mod. Nominated and installed.

One question though, sometimes the sidebar shows up at the proper place (top right of forum) and on some pages it is hidden way at the bottom. Do you know how to fix it? For example on my ForumHome it shows at the very bottom right (I set it to right side), however on my ForumDisplay it is perfect at the top right.

Not sure why it would be in different places. Any ideas? Thank you again for this great mod.

For whatever reason I couldn't get it to work on the homepage...

Anyway if you have the same problem I hacked the plugin sidebar_forumhome_complete to do nothing and enabled the vbulletin "standard" sidebar..

Not perfect but works great for me.. :)
