Short Question Is your Mod Supporting secendery Groups ? Dont think so maybe you can add this in your next Version. What i mean is when someone is Primar Reg User and Secend. Admin he cant see the Tabs with Admin Rights (6) only.

That is one of the bugs. It is being worked on and will be released in the next update.

Cyb (Valtar) just released a new version today. I installed it and it seems to work fine. I don't have IE8 tho, so you'll need to check it out again and let me know.

Works fine on my vb 4.02 testboard, anyway.

Also, is there a way to change the color of the tab and or the text?

You can go to admincp --> tabs --> manage modules and enable the blog tab...

Site looked great, pm'd you about my stupid most annoying administrator adding a skin and stuffing the entire thing but it did look great what you did - would be nice to have it working on vb4 if/when you get it going.

I have tried putting this on vb 4.0.2, which i recently upgraded my forums too, but i can not get it working at all. I can get all the tabs up, set the default ect,ect
however, even if i just list it to show one forum, it shows every forum no matter what i do, on every tab.

any ideas

Are you sure you set the forum ID's right for every tab?

yes, two different people have tried it. i used this on vbul 4.0.0 but did not install it again when i done a fresh forum of 4.0.1. i have upgraded that forum to 4.0.2 and wanted to put ti back on, but can not get it working

I just upgraded to v.4.0.2 and it's fine... Still not working w/ hasans sub-forum hack -- but.... no probs with new vB release In my experience

I have not had time to look into the issues with Hasans sub forum manager. I've had weird results with it.... sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

However, Cyb (now known as Valtar) just released his version of sub forum manager and it works fine with TFH. Just upload his xml, make the setting changes you want and it displays just fine within the tabs...

correct... if you set a category display to 0, it hides that category from the forum home, so the same thing applies with TFH.. if a cat is set to 0 it will not display on forum home. I use the core forumhome functions currently. This will be changed in the next major version.

Hi bobster65, I posted earlier in this thread about this mod not working with the chatboxes available. I could not get it to work but now have it working with the latest chatbox version of the VSa - ChatBox. I apologise I never got back to you but I placed this on the back burner for a bit.

It is great to have this mod back in gear again after I always used it on vB 3.0 series. Thankyou again very much for bringing this mod back to life for the 4.0 series. This mod is handy in so many ways and I can not wait for the better updates coming.

I have updated to 4.0.2 and there are a few problems I have found.

For some reason when the tab mod is enabled the forums are locked, we can still post in them but this leads us to the next problem. Last post by on foum home does not change, if someone posts it does not show up (you can not tell if someone has posted in a thread unless you open the thread). The skin I am using is made for 4.0.2 also and I tried this on vB default skin and same probs happened.

I removed the template edits and kept the mod enabled and the fourm went back to normal on all skins.

I have not noticed anyone having these probs so I thought I would say something to see if anyone else is. I was hoping someone might have some thoughts on this.

Very Nice!! this may have been asked, but is it possible to make the "show all forums" module with a place to put forums you wish to exclude? This would save a bunch of time for those of us with many, many forums who don't want to have to list them all without the module.

bro i am facing a prob.

i am running vb 4.0.2 and this mod. i ahve created 3 tabs. but all the forums show in all 3 tabs. it doesnt show only the forum catagory it is supposed to show. any idea why this is happening? cheers

when collapsing forums you get some massive design errors etc. To make sure search engine spiders can spider my content I made a notabbed style as the default style.

Is there a way I can make it possible to show special styles to spiders only ?

And I notice the URL is {url}/tabindex.php(etc) instead of forum.php ?

Is this normal, or have I stuffed up the config somewhere?
