One question though... How did you get it to have a signature line that you were posting on your iPod Touch? It would be nice if I had something similar so people know I am not actually 'on' when posting. Might be a silly question but I couldn't figure it out.

Any reason I cannot download the code for vB 4.0 from tapatalk.com? Getting a 404 error.

I'm a long time user of this mod, and recently upgraded... and everything is working swimingly, except that now my domain.com/forum page directs automatically to Tapatalk.com. Is this as intended, or? (www.creativeminds.me/forum/ )

I think you might upgraded it and putting the file in wrong directory. Make sure you place all of them in mobiquo/ folder..

We don't use Pinch Media Facebook library and even if we do we are bounded by Facebook privacy control of what we can get and what's not.

The bottom like is Pinch Media and any other analytics library is a basic building block of Mobie Application, likewise for Google Anaytics that a lot of web site added to track performance and usage.

You don't use it.. but Pinch Media get the Datas.. if the Facebook-App install. The Facebook App don't send the Datas. But YOUR App.

The Big Question:

WHY YOU SEND INFORMATIONS, WITHOUT ASKED THE CUSTOMERS, BEVORE THEY RUN YOUR APP THE FIRST TIME?
Maybe you know, that the Customers don't like that and they don't install your App?
And, dit you realy think, that pinch media do all for free? They do something with the dates.

It is easy for you, that you delete the code from your app as soon as possible.... and there are different between Google and Pinch Media. They don't know the position from my iPhone and many more.

And we, as admins can't support an app, which happily sends data from there iPhone, without asking the user!

More and more Companys delete the Code from the Apps, becaus the Users, they know that, delinstall the App from the Phone!

They don't get any Facebook data unless you login with the Facebook Connect. Again we didn't activate it so they have no way to know it. And if we did activate it there will be an alert to the users. No one knows the location information because the mobile device will alert user to confirm permission to use the GPS.

Pinch Media do it for free the same fact that you install the Google Analytics tracking code on your website for free too. I might be wrong but I don't understand the fuss about it.

FYI we are moving away from Pinch Media to Google Analytics to streamline our analytics ability. In fact we use Google Analytics in our Android app also.

This is important to improve the app as it allows us to know how many crashes our app made and to understand which features are seldom used etc.

I just installed yesterday, everything looks good except attachments are not able to be uploaded. This was tried from iphones and droid. My members are getting the message:

"Upload Failed. Please contact your forum administrator if this problem persists"

oops, spoke too soon. The members are able to upload, but we don't have thumbnails enabled on our forum. We just show the complete resized image inline. The mobile users are displaying a ? on the attached files, but displaying the linked images fine.

edit: It looks like I have to get access to the forum area at the Tapatalk site. Is this correct? If so, I'll need to get login details from the forum admin that set up our account in the first place.

Ever since I did the latest update on the client software iphone specifically that I'm using it always shows unread posts even if they are read. Any thoughts?

Any thoughts on my issue where even once I exit the application after reading all threads (RO or normal) and go back into it those threads show up as unread again? My users are experiencing the same issue, so its not just me

It's strange as it seems to work fine on our side. But in any case we are going to release another iPhone update soon with a revamp of the Latest tab arrange I hope this issue will go away for you.
