Manoel J?nior 03-11-2010 09:54 PM

After I installed the update, when I minimize the banner it redirects to the Forum and maximizes the banner ....

BUG?

kozzie 03-11-2010 10:17 PM

i had alook at stylevars.com doesnt answer my question above still waiting for support.

please help.

regards kozzie

daveaite 03-11-2010 10:23 PM

>Kozzie, can you screen shot what area you want to change

>Manoel Junior: Are you saying when you make the banner smaller? it redirects? Could be a vBulletin Bug. Hard Refresh your browser (ctrl+F5) After making changes, servers do not always recognize...or parse it immediately.

>Astynax: Not really sure what you mean, no template changes. This theme doesn't change the template unless you use the CSS + JS version. Even then you won't receive automatic updates of the theme. No theme is perfectly finished since vBulletin continuously changes their coding. Everytime an upgrade is performed, it potentially alters the themes.

Be back in a few hours >> Dinner.

daveaite 03-12-2010 05:58 AM

All demos and the BP Network is currently down as we are switching from shared servers to a dedicated server. Please excuse any downtime and delayed updates on themes.

[Expect 24-72 hours]

But there must be some template changes or else that white line under the logo never would have existed. Or am I wrong? The new vBulletin styles are just color changes that are said to work the whole life time of vBulletin 4 x. This is something I want for this style too. Just some color changes so I easily can updater vBulletin software without have to wait for an update of the theme as well.

daveaite 03-12-2010 08:05 PM

The line was fixed in the last update, the reason was the repeating image had a white line in it was actually not a vBulletin issue. There was a small white line in the image created when I made it awhile back. xD Hard to see unless zoomed in on or using a larger image. Fixed though and should work for all 4.0x

Astyanax 03-13-2010 11:19 AM

If there are non template changes now, I guess the theme will work fine also in the future, without some updates.

Dave, when will you complete the colors in the theme? Some parts are still blue.

daveaite 03-13-2010 06:22 PM

Hey, I'll try to do them as soon as possible. I've been working around the clock to get the BuyPoe.com Network up on a dedicated server. I was previously on a shared server and they just shut off everything since I exceeded 10% of the CPU resources (Justhost.com fyi), this untimely event has delayed everything including some custom theme creations and updates on themes.

Thanks for the patience.

Astyanax 03-14-2010 08:39 AM

I try to be patient, belive me ;) Not that easy all the time, heh. Just to remind you: You do a great job Dave!

Installed, very nice, many thanks! But did I've made a mistake? See the attachment, there is a blue table, not a green one in thread posts, looks a bit like the original one...

You may not be able to see the demo just yet depending on where you are due to recent domain transfers. Works for me though already. :)

Astyanax 03-17-2010 08:25 PM

To Mutt: Look at stylevars > "Wgo_color"

i take it you alsog ot permission from the site owners? since things like that could get this forum shut down, or give it a bad rep.. i would suggest removing the vbseo one, since they release theres when there ready. and the fact everyone with vbulletin will know you just ripped off vbseo.. and it doesnt take much to rip, i just ripped vbseo style took me about 5 minutes?.. unsure what your doing,

Basically your saying, if someone chooses the colors green and places them in stylevars, it cannot be used by anyone ever again until the person says yes. The fact is, whether they release it or not, they don't have copyrights over the basic colors green when it comes to vBulletin styling. That's ridiculous

Also this thread is for support only. Please read the previous pages in this thread for more information before posting.

Why you trying to deny it?? You have cloned vbseo site yes or no? Previously said vbseo clone afaik, and the js version looks excatly like vbseo... I'll tell you what I'll just report this post as I think it breaks some type of rule. And if it gets removed it gets removed if not well done for getting off other peoples hard work...

I won't commnt know more as not ply me is saying your a fake.

Regards

oh an I'll also bring it to the attention of the other forums and get them to comment in this post if they allow you to clone there websites style.

p.s vb.org works good on the iPhone ^.^

daveaite 03-25-2010 10:36 PM

Please read entire thread before posting. All of this has been thoroughly discussed already. I know that you haven't or else you would've read this:

Wild Bronco 03-25-2010 11:41 PM

I am having a small trouble with this style.

If I would like to use it for one center section 100% wide it dose not stretch all the way across.. It looks as there are sidbars on bothe sides?

Grid is 1 column

Style settings are: 1 single column

And it is centered and onlu about 70% of the total width..

Am I doing somthing wrong or??

daveaite 03-26-2010 12:17 AM

Can you give me a link to check?

Trying to install the style and I don't see any green, forum is still blue after installing the Green and Digital styles. Images uploaded and style imported correctly. Am I missing something? Thank you.

daveaite 03-28-2010 06:17 PM

I just uploaded them again, in case I made a mistake after the update. Let me know if you continue to have a problem

I am still getting a blue style when uploading

daveaite 03-28-2010 09:41 PM

Just tried it on a demo site, not having that problem. Make sure you click Ignore style version. And merge the xml over the current one you have. Also make sure your images folder is in the correct location. Although the logo may sure, you may have placed the images folder in the wrong spot effectively messing up the location paths of the gradients.

After a few random clicks and a restart I got it straight, thanks.

I do have a side question that you may or not be able to answer. I wish to add a background image of a gradient fade to the entire page instead of a solid color. Any idea how I can go about that?

Thanks for your help!

daveaite 03-31-2010 02:36 PM

Your welcome :)

You'll need to edit doc_background in stylevars and apply the gradient from there

dmart 03-31-2010 06:59 PM

installed and looking good thanks daveaite
