Do you still have the file for 4.1.7? I don't plan on upgrading right away.

Paul M 11-26-2011 01:39 AM

The older (pre 418) version is now attached to the main post.
This is for vBulletin versions 4.1.0 - 4.1.7 only.
Please note that the older version is NOT supported. There is no 4.0.x version available.

w8baby 11-26-2011 04:30 AM

The older (pre 418) version is now attached to the main post is invalid. please reupload

Drache 11-27-2011 05:46 AM

Thanks Paul. The 4.18 version is working fine for 4.18.

But I've a problem. The rep bar was under the medal before. But now it's on the right side of the medal.

I've tried both enable and disable Seperate the high value stars and the standard pips with a line break.

but the rep bar is still showing on right side of the medal. it won't show under the medal.

Could you please tell me how to fix it? Thanks.

Thanks for the quick reply. so do you mean we can't change the rep bar's location if we use postbit?

Will you add more features for normal postbit in the future? Because many of us are not using legacy postbit.

Paul M 11-28-2011 01:20 AM

Quite honestly, I really dont get why anyone would split it in the non legacy postbit - it just adds a whole unnecessary line to the data area. However, Ive updated it to work in both. Just upgrade to 4.1.8.1.

Taurus1 11-28-2011 08:08 AM

Hi Paul, not sure why, but look at my screenshot below please. I see the pips start right next to the medals here. Although when there are less medals it is correct.

Attachment 134752

Thanks.

EDIT: Might have been a cache issue after installing the latest update. Seems to work fine now. Thanks.

Drache 11-28-2011 08:14 AM

Thanks paul. It's working 100% now with the 4.1.8.1

Taurus1. Make sure you download the latest plugin 4.1.8.1

ZeroHour 12-01-2011 02:19 AM

Just thought I would report what I think could be a bug.
When you post using quick reply the line break between medal and pip is not applied to the ajax driven reply tagged on to the bottom of the thread. Refreshing the page shows the correct line break view but a use pointed it out to me so I thought I would let you know.

I can confirm this. I have the same issue. Thanks.

Yeh its not a huge problem as it does render properly on refresh, just a niggle.

-=Leb=- 12-05-2011 05:55 PM

Hi paul, i'm using the default style on my forum. When i submit a new post or thread the stars and the reputation are in the same line, but when i hit refresh it fixes the bug.

On the private messages the stars and the reputation is not fixed. both are in the same even if you refresh the side.

Thx in advance :)

Do u have other version of image? better looking ones?

Sworm 12-29-2011 08:19 AM

Hi , what is the correct package to install on 4.1.9. Suite?
The 417-Extended-reputation-display.zip or the Extended-reputation-display.zip ?

Paul M 12-29-2011 11:59 AM

The 417 version is for 4.1.0 to 4.1.7 only.

TasteMyShotz 01-08-2012 09:11 PM

Trevor Matthews 01-15-2012 02:41 PM

Sorry, added a post to the wrong mod.

Mr GRiM 01-17-2012 09:31 AM

I just installed this and it works great on 4.1.10, I changed the images from gif to png ones that I made, I included the PSD for the images as well if you want to change them at all, I also changed the xml code to png instead of gif so if you want to use png just uninstall the old one and install this one, it was just the one gif word that needed changing everything else is the same.

If you want to see how the png images look then have a look on my site http://virtualcustoms.net/forum.php

BlueCheri 01-17-2012 10:22 AM

Installed, works fine.

Thanx

G!

Mr GRiM 01-17-2012 03:03 PM

No worries BlueCheri, never been a fan of gif images and prefer png when I can lol

sticky 01-24-2012 10:00 AM

Glad to see reputation comments work, thank you. Adds a nice touch back to the forum.

TombstoneWarrior 01-24-2012 07:52 PM

installed nd nominated for MOTM

Merjawy 01-30-2012 12:31 PM

Thanks for the mod. Installed and tested it.. I like it, even though reputation is not really used on my site!!!

I didn't look at the code, is it possible to separate the stars display? Like each stars group in a line. Maybe inserting < br /> after each group/color of starts.

I cheated and have 3 sets of stars all in one line which gets cut off after 9 stars

Fender963 02-10-2012 11:49 PM

How hard would it be to use the reputation titles that vbulletin allows you to define for the default system.

Myth-Scape 03-14-2012 01:00 PM

on 4.1.10 it shows the reputation bar with pips, after your supposed to get a star though it just starts back at one green pip instead of giving a star

Paul M 03-14-2012 03:10 PM

Are the star images uploaded and in the correct place ?

Taurus1 05-29-2012 10:57 AM

Hi Paul, is it possible to have the pips below the 'stars' on the profile page?

Attachment 138803

Thanks.

gbicar 08-27-2012 07:50 AM

http://gyazo.com/359220b854b26636d58bbaa015628528

Anyone a idea?

sebasdess 11-01-2012 10:42 PM

Any way to add an icon after people get 5 of each stars?

I would like to add an "ultimate icon" that show that you are at the maximum of reputation acquired.

anyway to do this?

Seriously, you're "shouting" at me, you know thats not cool right ?

chaz7979 01-09-2013 04:24 AM

Is there any plugin which shows the rep pips as greyed out until they are filled in green? I would rather see 11 grey pips and have them fill in one by one as people level up.

Thanks.

Paul M 01-10-2013 11:47 PM

Nope, never seen such a mod.

chaz7979 01-11-2013 01:09 AM

I guess I could simply create 11 new images with all 11 pips and the appropriate ones greyed out or "inactive." Probably the way it should have been done to begin with. I see something similar was done with VB5.

Just had the time to dig in an fix this but I quickly noticed that a single pip is served for each level of increasing rep... what a terrible way to code! Now when a user reaches level 11 there are 10 extra http requests for that one user. This could mean hundreds of extra http requests per page depending on your users and their rep, very inefficient.

Pulling one image and having an image for each potential case would create a much lighter load. Even better... create the pips with html and css so there are no additional http requests.
