Can you include dropdown support? Hover over a tab to be able to have multiple links below? I'm not sure why separate threads and stickies is above you for hack of the month, but this feature would make you win. :P

Working on gold pl1 for me
there was a few pages bacc that posted the edit that fixes everything.

I have 40++ group.. its annoying if adding 1 by 1.. any clue to use groupping for every groups ?

Talking about a brower tab or a vBulletin navigation tab?

For browser tab, the "self" or "blank" setting as documents is what targets what window or browser tab will be used. put blank for it to spawn a new window or tab (it uses the syntax as used in the target field for a A HREF.

For a vBulletin navigation tab, you just use that URL.

This mod will be perfect if it could display active tab... I hope this can be accomplished somehow.

Can anyone recommend how I do this? I have this mod where it creates new tabs, however the page I link it to is a custom coded page, I want to keep the same header and navbar...background....logo...etc. as my site has. How would I just create a mirror basic page with same header and navbar but allow me to just have custom code in between the header and navbar? Please list DETAILED instructions on how to do this.

Installed it on vB4 Gold, works fine but using vBulletin.org|http://www.vbulletin.org=>blank
for example allows all usergroups to view the tab, when its supposed to be Admin only.

I could not get it to work for registered users and admins by using vBulletin|http://www.vbulletin.com=>blank;6 1, instead I had to use vBulletin.org|http://www.vbulletin.org=>blank.

Not sure if its a bug or if I am doing something wrong.

My apologies, I had been using a moderator user to do testing.

You can not with that with this hack, although Elmer says that he will try to add that functionality at some point, but there is no ETA atm.

However, if you can not wait for that to happen, then check out my site, there is a product that does all of this, see my signature for the link.

The usergroup ID for registered users is 2, and not 1 :)

such a useful mod that makes life that little easier. Why can't things like this be added as default is past me. Maybe 4.1 will include some useful features like this.

why when i click on a tab, the button don't change in white like all the other default vbulletin 4 buttons?

For example if i go in the forum, the forum button will be changed in white, if i go in the blog, the blog button change in white..... Why using this mod , the new tab are not contorned and not been white?
