If we get this feature, then, can I put a color for male users and another color for female users?

i.e. for male the username color is blue
for female the username color is pink

You just went way off track to what this modification does. Best way to go about doing what you're asking is having the males in one usergroup, and females in another, and changing their username html markup

I have +15,000 users, although I have extra filed for gender (male/female), but I can't make a usergroup for each because I should explore 15000 users and I should move the new users who will register in future I should move it manually to the another group (everyday everyday ....).

We need a smart system (Al least "IF statement"), when I see that you will do the suggestion (avatar as per gender) I thought that we can use the same idea for (color as per gender) in same mod where we will have the code to separate the users based on their gender so it is easy to use it for another purpose.

It's actually very easy. I was playing around with some code earlier today and made it work for a single usergroup ;)

I have this working on 4.1.10

I installed, but for some reason it's not working for me. :(

I have a custom avatar for the default avatar on my forum and its location is in the images/avatars folder, to which I had the ACP settings point to so this add-on product can locate it.

But for some reason it's not loading. :confused:

I'm running VB4.1.10

Anybody have any ideas?

Figured out what was wrong.

Had a competing "default avatar" product that was apparently conflicting with this one. Disabled it.

Shouldn't this be a reusable code? Since it's been working from some ancient vB builds, I doubt, it would suddenly break on 4.1.11 or so.

Anyhow, I will give it a shot on my test forum (4.1.11) and report back.

It wasn't designed to work in the activity stream. But we'll consider it if its not too hard.

It would be great if you could get it to work with the activity stream please Zachery. It also doesn't show the default avatar in the friends box on the profile page.

Go in to your Admin Control panel on your website, then in the left column menu click on Plugins & Products, then click on Manage Products, then at the bottom of the page click on Add/Import Product. Then click on the browse button and select the XMl file you downloaded from this thread and click import.

That will install the product.

Deverill, not sure why its not working for you but this is working for my activity streams both the main forum one and also the one on user profiles.

Try running the "Rebuild Avatar Thumbnails" update tool, then run the "Clear System Cache" and see if that works.
