No, it's not ready for vb4 yet. I need to make a lot of changes to it for it to work with the new system.

it seems that everytime the garage logs me out

like as soon as i try to add vehicle it logs out and doesnt let me do anything

Hopefully within the next couple weeks to a month. There are a lot of templates and files to modify and I need to redesign some things from scratch like the dropdowns and the table collapsing.

There is a bug with ratings. If you rate a vehicle, yon can press the browser "back" and vote as many time you want.

I am having access issue ..

I can't seem to add anything to the garage, I get this ERROR

Admin, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

and I am Admin with access setup for everyone all groups .. and everyone still gets the same error .. when press on "Add Vehicle" ..

what gives .. I am running 3.8.5

It's probably something to do with the permissions. Are you using the basic permissions or the advanced permissions? Make sure you have the right selection on the Garage General Settings tab. If you want to pm me temp admin access I can check it out for you.

I don't think there are any issues with upgrading from the 3.8.x version to the 4.0.x version. There will be some configuration changes to make because there are new enhancements in the 4.0.x version that I'm not doing in the 3.8.x one.

Hi,

I just downloaded and installed version 2.0.6

Everything seems to be working great.... with the exception of one thing.

I don't have the "Categories" menu in my Admin Control Panel.

Am I missing something?

I run a car website with highly modified vehicles so this feature would be awesome.

I am also running VBulletin 3.8.5 if that makes any difference.

I bought vb4.0 but won't be installing that for quite some time as my PHP and SQL versions are a little outdated and my hosting company hasn't upgraded those yet.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sent you a pm, you should have a new garage menu on the left pane of your ACP that has the Categories. Let me know if you have any problems with it.

I just installed this on my forums, and so far I'm impressed. I had the old Timeslips Database hack installed from vB 3.5 which still (partially) works, but I've been looking for a replacement for that. It seems this hack fits the bill, but I have one question...

Can the timeslip information be placed in the postbit template? I had that working with the old hack and my members liked that functionality. Thanks!

I just added the file postbit_user_garage-1_4_1.xml which is a postbit link to the users vehicle.

One more thing... I'm noticing some strange inconsistencies with the timeslips... On my timeslip creation & edit pages, it lists 1/8 and 1/4 mile speeds as 'KPH'. Viewing the timeslip itself, it's listed as MPH. However on the 'Top Timeslips', it also lists speed as KPH. As far as I can tell the speed should only be listed in MPH.

I'll take a look. I'm not doing any more dev on the 3.8.x version but I'm sure I can find the fix for it.
You can change the KPH to KM/H in the phrases. Thanks for letting me know though.

I didn't add the featured or VOTM parts until the vB4 version for the free script. I'm not developing the free vB3 one anymore as it's too much work to maintain 4 versions.

The paid version has vehicle modifications that tie to a business directory inside the script, dyno runs, clubs, events, fuel tracking and laptimes that can be tied to tracks.

Is this fix still something that needs to be made to the latest version?

I got the same error using the latest version and then made this fix and it went away. Just want to check.

Perhaps someone can help me with some questions.

- there ist no category in the ACP (shown in the helpfile)
- there ist no image (car.png) in the postbit when activating xxx's garage
- I want to hide price and purchasedetails. How can I do it

The categories are from the newer vB4 version, this one doesn't have categories.
The postbit image in this version is from another hack
If you want to disable the price you can remove it from the templates
garage_vehicle_view

I tried different values.... no entry. :(


-when I approve anything, the page .../garage_approval.php?do=approve_vehicle&id=xx shows a menu without blanks between the menuitems.

What can I do ?


PS: I use C&D Garage 2.0.6 Timeslips on vB 3.8.x

When is it showing the blank page? When you try to add, when you try to edit, when you try to view?
Can you pm me a SS of the approval items? I'm not sure what you mean.

I tried some formats for the time, like 1 or 1.0 or 00:00:01. But all I get after adding is a white Page.

Is this add-on still structured in a way that forces users to add each vehicle modification individually? Can it be changed without much work so that modifications can be added in textareas? Can the admin define/edit all user input fields to collect info different from what the defaults are in the script?
