After further investigating, none of the "save" options work, so I can't really do anything now. Guess I upgraded too soon... can you please help

what happened when you click on the save button?
Is there any database error or it just not working?
what is your browser and what it's version?
are you enabling JavaScript in your browser?!

Adding my adsense channel and ad slot and clicking save does not populate an entry. I am receiving no errors and I also re-installed as well as click "delete all ads". I get no db messages, it just refreshes and I see no entries. I have tried on WinXP FF 3.5 and MacOS/Safari with the same result.

when you adding a unit, it's will showed under manage adsense ads table in the same page, but in your case you said that not happend!

what is your vb version?

vb3.8.4. When I enter my channel and google ad slot, I click save, and I do not see it populate at the bottom.

I did an uninstall, and re-did everything. Seems to be fine now! Thanks!

3 questions:

1. I noticed there is no options to display ads in member profiles. Is this something that needs to be done manually?

2. Ads in Arcade, do they go directly in the template file?

3. Does this mod work with the blog?

actually I don't know if this will work with Arcade or Blog systems but what about to try it by yourself and let me know if it's work or not. you will need to do it manually, also in member profiles you can put the ad you want into MEMBERINFO template or any other.

I can't customize this mod more than this :)

you can put ads in PM's using banner variables in exact template location you want to show ads in. For PM's, I think 'pm_messagelist' template is a good place

you can manage everything via /misc.php?do=ainadsman, but first you need to add channels from your google account to track these stuff .. may this will help you:

only administrators (usergroup 6) can see this page. if you are not in that group you can't manage ads.

oh, I see what's happening.

I am Administrator as secondary usergroup, and only primary usergroup admin can view that page.

well, I added my channels about 35 minutes ago... an now there's no ads showing. Grrr.

Also wanted to know if there is a way to add small text somewhere near the add that says click to to remove add and it redirect them to a specific page ?

al3bed.. I think if you allow this field to be controlled under your product this would be great. For example I would suggest to have the link text be customizable and when the member clicks on that link it redirects then to maybe your page that shows how to become a premium members. This would encourage members to upgrade to premium membership if they can remove the adds. Make sense

I think it's possible to do it, a page controlled by showing a template for specific reason make sense sure.

I am unable to add any ads. Look at the screenshot I added in.

Hi, Why the ad location number doing wrong? see image bellow.

I choose location number 2 and 3 but it save is location number 1 and 2.
I checked all pages of display options, same problem.

I just try it and all units tested are work perfectly.

the adsense ads manager in this mod cannot add channels to your account. right, you have a textbox to add channel info but it just for you to know which unit belong to which channel.if you are using ad/link unit, you need to add the channel from your account where you create that unit. if you are using custom units you need to check spelling. you can try add custom unit by this website: oldadsensecode.com you will get the same result. if you have problem with channels please read more:

this may happened if your browser show problems with javascript. (you change something in template? disable javascript in your browser? face problems with installation/upgrade?)

I did this, but it doesn't work. Same thing happened.

unexpected $end mean there is unclosed brackets inside a plugin. I checked all plugins and all are fine. tested on 3.6, 3.7 and 3.8 no problems found. try to download the product again or send me the product you are using right now and show to you this error so I can check it

Can it be my template giving the problem? I have checked using other templates - same thing.
I redownloaded the thing again and reinstalled with overwriting - same thing
I exported the file, my xml file is 274kb (new downloaded file is 319kb) - does this mean something?

it's seems that once you download it first time something happened

try reinstall without overwriting
(completely delete the product and do a fresh install)
v7.0 file size 319kb

if same thing happen to you, try another style like defualt one if same happen then delele this mod for ever .. I don't have more solution for you :)
