It should work on 3.8. It will cover anything that users have BB code input into (e.g. visitor messages, blogs, etc.).

Hello, is it possible for some URL's to somehow bypass the feature ? We had a link posted recently that when clicked, bypassed the anonymizer and went straight to that website.

When hovering over the link, the anonymizer info isn't shown either, it's a direct link. Really weird ! We're using 3.7.4 pl1

Could you post the link to the page where this occurs (or alternatively, send it in a PM).

I've found a little issues. If i visiting my site via the https protocol, the anonymizer links are on http not on https. Of course i can change it in the plugin, but it would be better if the anonymizer is using http if i visit my site via http and it's using https if i browsing my site with https.

Perhaps in a future version it can be integrated.

Hello Dismounted, i have this same situation.

was there any particular fix? :)

in my case, it was in the Question forum of my site and the person used the img tag for a jpg link

i have for this forum:

html = no
allow bbcode = yes
allow img code = no

because i have img code set to 'no' it only shows as a link but when i hover over that link , i don't see the redirector in front of it.

when i edit his post and remove the img tags, then the redirector shows correctly.

btw, i'm using vbanonymizer_3_0 and still using vB3.7.3

when do Script URL other site ! and do new thread work good vbAnonymizer

but when edit thread again and save it the URL again do redirector again !!

Try adding a "whitelisted" domain - i.e. your domain.

Running 3.8.2 Read this entire thread, your Read Me, installed, seems to work EXCEPT THAT

I can't seem to whitelist a site. Local links automatically whitelisted, but no matter how I enter a site into the admin whitelist box seems to still go through the anonymizer process.

I tried entering it as
www.blahblah.com
.blahblah.com
blahblah.com
even the exact url all the way
http://www.blahblah.com/ggg/ggg/addd...errer=blahblah

No dice

This is an https site so I tried entering the term https into the Ignore Certain Protocols box, still anonymizes.
