plz post your requests for version2.2 because i am almost done with my Social Networking it s a great mod who will give our members the ability to transforme the memberinfo to a real blog and they can add myspace layout , free chat , add media {videos , songs } bakground music , extra tabs so they can add more stuff , also they can set permissions allowing or not usergoupids to acces to there space

and i am gotta integrate this mod with Advertisement System V2.2 to give them the ability to display there ads in header , footer , left column

import the product to print the ad_codes in your ad location templates ( select yes to Allow Overwrite )

sorry for the lack of info...I am running vb 3.7.1 and I am using a custom template. I didn't even think about trying it with the default template....but i will and i'll let you know if it works or not. Thx for your help :)

Btw, I just reinstall this, and now the slideshow is working.

I just browse to your demo site, and make the same path for the ads like you did in your site.

In the setting of Slideshow advertisement code, you have to make a folder in your forum root. The folder is "ad", this is for storing the animated gif file acts as the ads.

For example : slideshowcontent[0]=["http://your forum site/ad/animated file.gif", "http://link to the host site you want/", "_new"]

The strange thing is, it cannot do direct link from the other site for the slideshow ads, but you need to download the animated gif and put it in your "ad" folder in the forum root.

I did this without editing the template as instruction in the manual :D
It would be better if you can make it possible to just point the slideshow site path to the site you want to advertise.

it s a slideshow so all banners must be in same server (( yours )) if you set the pause (5 secondes )) and a banner hosted in a slow server like imageshark , photobucket there is a risque that the next banner will not show up .
in vb3.7.x you dont have to edit the templates: header , footer & navbar :)

ah, I see. But the strange thing is, the banner folder should be named with "ad" only. Is it possible to make it more flexible, so that I can make any folder name for storing the banners ?

Btw, I have to edit my custom styles templates, as the slideshow didn't show up :D

One more thing, how to make the slideshow in the header align to the right ?

verino you can rename the folder mine it s (( banner )) in my test forum just make sure when you rename the folder , edit the the images links in admincp/vBulletin Options/Advertisement System (settings & Slideshow)/Slideshow advertisement code
for your 2 nd it s already in right side ! if you mean move it to another area just open your header template find and move :
Because when you update from 3.6.x to 3.7.x you did not revert all templates for your custom styles to keep the design :D

ah, yes. You're correct. I have to revert the header template 1st for the default, then the ads will be in the right side.

in version 2.2 you can auto refresh the Random Advertisement In Header & Footer Start (( below whats going on )) i know some poeple using this area for the Affiliates so it s gotta be a great option for them

Feature Requests for 2.2

The ability to show adverts within other highly used mods such as:

Links and Downloads Manager for example between quiz downloads - here is a good example

ibProArcade display ads in blocks on Arcade homepage - see here

The above mods are very very popular but sadly it isnt easy to manage adverts on those pages. I think your mod would gain even more users if it could intergate with them.

bug:
Even the affiliate advertisement is disable, there still an empty box at the bottom, right on top of the footer.

i can show ads in my footer, but they wont show up in the other sections like PM, announcements, 1st post, last post etc.

im using default vb template with just some color changes to it and a custom header image, so nothing weird or fancy there.

is this because of 3.7.1 PL1?

works for vb3.6.x &vb3.7.x and a friend just tell me it s working for vb3.5

i installed but when i upgrade to 3,7,1 pl1 this mod did not work my site.only bottom,threadbit and postbit work.but did not work header.

because i am using 5 vbulletin templates in this version : ad_header_end , ad_header_logo , ad_footer_end , ad_footer_start and ad_navbar_below
thats why you must import the porduct when you upgrade your forum !

if you want add more add | at the end of each code .

i wanna show 2 banner top of the page (footer) but when i use | seperate,you know that i can only 1 advertise.but i wanna show 2 banners near by 468x60 + 468x60 or upside 728x90 + downside 728x90 or more than 2 banner.how can i do it Karim ??

time is 22:30 in turkey.and i upgradeted to 371 PL2...
i can only see threadbit.

not working all other functions..header,footer,google analystic,affilates,left,right,bottom of the page...not working only threadbit can work with 371 pl2

i tried this but some advertise can not seem.may be because of google..
