Upgrade Instructions
1. Copy ALL (I mean ALL - That was the common error upgrading from 3.7.10 to 3.7.11) files from /upload/ to the server. Espacially take care of the images, copy them to your style misc folder if you use a customized style
2. ReImport product_vbexperience3712.xml, allow overwrite
3. If you modified any of the vBExperience templates, revert them ALL
4. Run Maintenance Tools/Recount

Is your memberinfo template unmodified?

As for Awards: Go to AdminCP, vBExperience, Manage Awards.

is there any template editing i have to do? and also if i do a fresh install do i have to do update counter since i have 150k users:P seems everyone has one points

Yes, recount is always needed because it's calculating the data that it then shows.

No template edits needed if you have default templates with hooks in it.

got customized template coz now it does not display in user info and member list

$awardextension appears to be blank. I don't get any file extensions for the award images.

$awardextension is beeing done via settings and script

I see that now, but it's writing to the img tag: '/images/misc/level/award_helpful', instead of '/images/misc/level/award_helpful.gif'

LOL (feeling stupid)...my ftp program was stuck on a prompt and didn't finish uploading the new files. Once I bypassed the prompt, the files were actually uploaded this time and now everything works.

Which template? Profile, postbit, ... ?

Compare your template with the original templates and search for "$template_hook"

Ignore Usergroup don't work on awards, as ignore works also for points. No points, no awards. If you still get an award, then you have likely manually assigned the award.
If you put someone/some group on ignore you will have to do a recount.


Please click INSTALL. And upload all files from the directory /upload/ to the server.

The needed templatehooks are missing. Take a look at the original template and copy $templatehooks of it.

do you have any idea where can i get new images for the level up bars? the orange green blue is very distracting..

Like my points would be lets say 46. But after I post some stuff, its still 46

Why is that? Is there a setting I must change?

Due to performance there is a scheduled job running where the points are calculated. Just be patient.

Is there maybe a way to speed it up a lil tho?

Set the scheduled task to f.e. 5 minutes...

Did you have vB 3.6.x or 3.7? This friendcount should only be queried if you have 3.7 installed.

I have 3.6.9 but i did install your 3.7 version 1st by mistake, bu have since uninstalled and re installed the 3.6 version

That is the problem: vBExperience checks if a specific 3.7 table exists ("socialgroup"), it use this info to switch to 3.7 mode.

Just delete the table socialgroup.

I have read & followed every page of this thread but I guess I'm not getting what it takes to have the xperience status show up in the member profile area. It works great everywhere. All templates are reverted and it is not a custom skin, it is the original skin, using 3.6.8.

This is the memberinfo template, sorry it's long, I'll remove after I get instructions.

You don't have a clean 3.6.8 template. Revert it.

A 3.6.8 template has the template hook called memberinfo_foruminfo
