I think you need php5 for this script to work

don't hold me to that but on my first host the script works great with php5 on the 2nd host it has php4 and this script don't work.

Hi, I am using vBulletin 3.6.8 Patch Level 2 and have php 5.2.5, I followed instructions in the attached zip folder but after uploading the "upload" folder I can't see any admincp/vbtube and at the same time when I run the script in the browser http://www.myforum.com/forum/vbtube.php it is giving me a blank bag and the error message, "Not Found
The requested document was not found on this server"

I uploaded the "uploaded" folder to forum root but no admincp/vbtube in the admin panel appeared in admin panel.

I am not sure what I am doing wrong, can any one help me out in finding the solution for installing, your help will be very much appreciated please.

Yes this Problem only comes if you installed the UPDATE File not the New installation File.

Ok. We have to create the tables manually and then you can uninstall it. Do you know how you create tables with phpmyadmin. if not i can do this for you...

Ok i see many of you have Problems. But the most of you not read the Text. I removed now the update File and only New installation File is in this Thread included.

99% of you install the update File for a new installation. :(

Now you can?t make mistakes :)

this looks like a great hack i did make the first mistake but fixed in cpanel
but i then installed it and could not get it to work you see the pic i posted looked like it was missing image and video did not play if could get it to work would be nice and 99% of the time we always install the newer version that's the one that has the fixes

Only YouTube Links are working. Maybe this is the mistake. If not please give me the link i have to take a look to this...

The update File is only for updating from previous Version. Both Files are the newest.
New Installation is if you installing it first Time and the Update File if you update from 1.0.0 or 1.0.1 to 1.0.2

Maybe i have to explain this better in the Thread, but now its better with the removed update File. Everyone who install the Mod first Time will get no errors.

Comments will work only with the paid Version.

I know the Lite Version is a very Lite Version and i will add more features.

Please run the tablefix.php file on Forums Root if you got db errors when setting usergroup Permissions or any other db errors..

tablefix.php creates the tables for vbTubePRO Lite again...

Hi this looks very good and I like the look of the pro version.

Can you tell me? With the pro version, Is it posible to set permisions to individual catagories eg

UserGroup_1 can see Cat A but not B
UserGroup_2 can see Cat A and B

I am very sorry for the Errors you got!

Please update your vBTubePRO to 1.0.3 Version.
I hope now that vBTubePRO will work for all.
Bugs fixed.

well im running it and it seems fine, the only errors im getting are if you happen to leave the image url out it shows as adb error which is obviously thrown back at you as an email warning from server etc

that said it still posts the image even though the url for the image is not put in !

which begs the question why do we need it in the first place if it shows the image without having to input the link to it?

everything else is cool and works fine it looks professional and members love it, so answers on why we need the image link would be ideal

Just installed on my test site and worked fine after I ran the tablefix.php I will be installing this on my main site tomorrow. :)

If this was put into an update I for one would be sold :) To have the ability to decide what categories/Content is shown to what user groups would be great.

Ok. if you get a duplicate vbtube table error then you dont have to run the tablefix file. tablefix is only for the one who installed the update.xml of vbtubepro 1.0.2 and not the new installations file.

2. go to admincp/vbtubepro/rebuild counters

I fixed that. Download the package again and overwrite only vbtube_add.php with the previous one. I think it have to be work :)

No you dont install it again, only updating... Pro has no problems... you can test it live. i give the same files i used on my site...

Hey it seems you fixed the error with the image.......well done and yes it was the vbtube_add.php

ps any joy with the latest uploaded video in a module for vbadvanced be a great job

I updated from 1.0.2 to 1.0.4 on vB 3.7 Beta 6 without an issue. You can see a demo here.

Althought, the URL changes from vbtube.php to vbtubepro.php. The new version will show the latest added video, not just from the default category.
