I think Ive found a 'bug'. I just installed this on my 3.6.8 PL2 board and when i visited /admincp/options.php?do=options&dogroup=goldbrick i got this error:

I fixed it by moving the file xml/bitfield_goldbrick.xml to include/xml/bitfield_goldbrick.xml and it seems to be working now, but Ill have to give it a bit more testing to be sure.

Edit: D'uh, seems like I posted in the vB 3.7 thread instead of the 3.6 one. But I think my comment is valid to this version as well.

I have a strange problem.

On my Macbook Pro, I use both firefox and safari.
When I try to view flash videos, I can only hear sound when using firefox, but in Safari, everything works perfectly.. Any idea on this? Also, my windows PC also has firefox and it loads fine.

I'm also on a mac. Its a bug with firefox on macs. If you use firefox 3 beta it works fine.

I have read this entire thread.

PHP 5.25
I've tried installing 3 times and always have to run back to AnyMedia.
Everything goes great until I install the plugin. Then I lose my board.
I get it back right after I uninstall the .xml.

I'd really love to get this working.

uggh. You took Anymedia zip off of the Anymedia mod.
Any way to get it back until I get this other issue worked out?

It is fine. Great job but I face a small problem.
All urls are working fine. The attachement is working fine but when I am inserting a url with a .flv file from my own website (where I have a lot of videos and animations) it is dispayed as embed but I get an error saying "You need to upgrade your Flash Player". (PHP version 5.2.3)
Can anybody help me???

All seems to be working great. Thanks very much for the mod.

I have a few questions about isntalling the HighSlide JS with this (the mod for it on here seems to have been removed). Also on the 3.7 profile page only one video seems to be able to be shown. I'm a complete n00b by the way. Is is appropriate to ask in this thread?

So anyway *slowly makes circles with foot* urmm, I was wondering. Can anyone point me in the right direction for a how-to to install the HighSlide JS blobby thing in with this mod on VBulletin 3.7 beta 3? I've done the "google is my friend" and well, frankly, it wasn't. Or very very simple, step by painful step instructions would be very much appreciated.

You don't have to install highlside. It comes with this mod. If you don't run a commercial site then your all set.

Thank you for your reply,above, and your whole great job.
Almost everything works great but I have two small queries:

1) How I can change the position of the created thumbnail (left-center-right) and where I have to do that????

2) While an attachment (flv or swf) is displayed as normal thumbnail in the forumhome (thread-post) , when I am transfering same post in my front (vba) page the display turns in url with the icon of flv in front.?????

Nix. sorry about the stupid questions. I was focussing on the Profile Video aspect of Goldbrick - just posted a test youtube clib in a thread and works perfectly.

Although...is there anyway of posting more than one profile video?

my coder added it as a plug in for a new forum we are building that is VB 3.7.3 beta but it doesnt seem to be working?

no "m" or media tag shows up in the reply to thread box ... anyone else have issues?

No 'm' or media tag will show,, just paste the url wothout any tags.. It should work.
