Any ideas what may be wrong? :( We are on 3.5.0 with the 3.5.1 patch applied.

Cheers

Same here, without the 3.5.1 patch... Does the Hook Location matter? It automatically installed in the bbcode_create. Any help would be great, seems like a fantastic plugin to have! Thanks :)

//nevermind - it's working..I'm just an idiot :P

Simple...

Say your domain is www.mydomain.com and you have a forum at www.mydomain.com/forum

Any guests on that forum would not be able to view links in the thread but say you happen to have a link to your own domain (www.mydomain.com)'s section. Since, guests can't see the LINKS at all, they wouldn't be able to see links LOCAL TO YOUR domain either hence they might leave instead of following that link and browse your site more. I hope that made sense. :ermm:

I see... I get what you mean now. Thanks for the explaination.

For my case, I am not so worried about links since we don't really have much on my site. My main concerns were on the images linked using the [IMG] tag. I am trying to restrict this as there were many cases where guest just come in and "steal" our members picture.

any one manged to port this onto there vbulletin 3.5.2?

furst 12-22-2005 05:21 AM

3.5.2
Even after I log in it doesn't show me the link..
Sometimes it doesn't hide the link.

Can anyone help me with this. I really need this hack. I do have others installed. Could it be conflicting?

This really needs to be ported to 3.5.2

topshams 12-22-2005 05:33 PM

Has anyone any news if/when this will be available for 3.5.2

Due to the fact that I can?t give support for this Plugin anymore I would encourage those who installed it, to de-install it - even cause it doesn?t seem to work correct in 3.5.1 and if it does a proper install doesn?t handle all links (like www.example.org, capitals, emails, etc.)

I recommend all users to have a look at another hack, which probably solves the most issues which are lacking in mine: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?p=827815 . I?m using it too ;)

Please remember first to de-install this plugin before installing the other one.

Because of this proposal I disagree that anyone is using parts of this code to build a commercial hack upon. Everyone who wants to use parts of this code in his hack/plugin/product has to release it following the rules and terms of the General Public License (GNU) to the open source community!

Merry christmas to all of you :bunny:

Same here, many members complained that links were hidden when they were registered. (uninstalled)
