The PS3 is expected to be previewed at E3, so if that is what you meant by "released", I highly doubt there's a Halo 3 by then.

It will likely be the killer app for the Xbox 360 (stupid name...think about it) just like Halo 1 and 2 are for the current Xbox.

A far better and more useful video than MTV's worthless showing:

well I live in a house full of gamers - we have 3 ps2's, 2 x-boxs, a gamecube, 3 computers - one solely for gaming, 3 original playstations, NES, SNES, not to mention numerous gameboys, gameboy advanced, the latest gameboy thing.. so I'm sure when the xbox 360 arrives, we'll have one of those too

I stand by my original statment when I saw the xbox, they are throwing more hardware than nessary at it, to produce shiny and dull textures.

I think they went overboard with power, it could be a good or a bad thing, but they did about the same thing with the xbox.

Zero Tolerance 05-13-2005 11:52 PM

A lot of power yes, but purely in the interest for the future, so it will be able to handle next generation games, and probably the generation after that.

The official site has been released, if you wanna take a look: http://xbox360.com

And wow, look at the awesome graphics in this preview: http://xbox360.com/latin/poster_wallpaper_1024x768.jpg :p

You're joking right? XBox 1 cost over ?200 upon GB release (thats about $420).

I wouldn't be surprised if when released in GB it hits ?400/?500+ with all the technology they have jammed into the thing.

filburt1 05-14-2005 02:21 PM

The non-US prices are usually higher anyway. I predict $350 or $400, but that may be without the hard drive. I guarantee you they'll screw you with a $100, 20 GB hard drive.
