Saying "MP3" quality is meaningless because you can compress an MP3 from 32 kbps to 320 kbps (my preferred level). When you listen on very high quality headphones or a home theater system, you can easily hear the imperfections in 128 kbps MP3s.

A standard 3-4 minute song at 512 kbps is 1 MB. 1,000 kilobytes. If you want a link to the CD player on sony's website or the file converter I use let me know.

I'm considering getting an iPod right now, I'd go for the regular one (not mini or photo), need lot's of space for music. Trying to decide between that and a laptop right now... I get harassed to much having the only good computer in the house!

I got my iPod photo 30 a few days ago. I looooove it. So pretty~

Sorry. :) I would recommend them over any player, any day of the week though.
