Not when I released the HTL only version. Of course, I only heard about it being a rule a few days after. It sure does take a long time to update a ++++ing announcement, eh?

FYI: http://everythingvb.com/forumdisplay.php?f=36 HTL hacks can be released there, without a text installer.

We've opened that forum for the people who wish to release bigger hacks that they've made using the HTL but who don't want to waste many hours on making a .txt installer themselves, and rather want to release their hack now and do the .txt installer once HTL 1.1 is out.

It would not be a wise idea to directly oppose an administrator. Now read that in an ominous tone.

I would not consider it a "waste" to write a .txt file. I know of no product manual out there that requires a proprietary system to read.

IF YOU WANT TO RELEASE A HACK HERE, THE INSTRUCTIONS MUST BE POSTED IN A TEXT DOCUMENT. There are no exceptions, and we hold no reservations from deleting hacks and banning repeat offenders.
