Finally got time to play with this some more. For me everything (lights and snow) works with Firefox. But have a weird bottom bar flash with Goggle Chrome 23.0.1271 version with snow set on and lights off.

And with IE8 (Don't use it but some members do so I thought I'd better check it) I cant get the snow to show for unregistered usergroup and the usergroup has been added to see the snow in the settings.

Anyone else have these problems with IE8 and Goggle Chrome?

is posible to remove the white background from the lights?

In your Style Variable what color is your doc_background if its white or tranparent, The background going to be white the lights dont have a background color.

If you want to add a background color go to e360_snowstorm_xmas_lights.css add this line background:YOURCOLOR;


Example:
#lights {
background:YOURCOLOR;
position:absolute;
left:0px;
top:0px;
width:100%;
height:70px;
overflow:hidden;
}

Both (snow and lights) are working on my cusom theme and standard theme (4.2.0 PL3)

Updated to 1.2.0

-New: User can turn off snow FOREVER on edit profile page.
-New: Xmas Lights will now Have Usergroups that can view.

Great mod. I used something similar last year. At least i dont have to hunt for the code to switch them off now. Everything works on 4.2.0
