Lightbox now works with IE! Please let us know if you're still experiencing issues.

Thanks for updating. |
Couldn't get it to work on Lightbox (I wonder if it's because I'm using https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...=254438&page=2 ?).
Anyway works fine on the post. Have rated and marked as installed. :) Thanks! Was looking for a way to make verification less tedious! Edit: Is there any way you could release a version with the flash games uploadable to one's own server? It would be a nightmare to lose ability for new people to join if your server went down. |
Disable registration optimization and see if lightbox works. Also make sure in your admincp/settings/human verification manager is set to disable.

Edit: Tried turning it back on through Human Verification Manager whilst it's now in lightbox mode and for some reason it appears to be working now, just annoyingly it shows "PlayThru Human Verification:" in the page, even though it's in lightbox mode. Shouldn't be hard for me to remove that text from the template though. Edit2: Doesn't look like a simple template edit because it all seems to be attached to a one phrase function rather than being a function attached to text and other gui stuff. Hmf. |
Mate did you disable RO in admincp/plugin and products also?

No. As I explained I'm not willing to turn Registration Optimisation off (might do it some other day when i'm less busy but I doubt it will change it). It's only a single template edit for a start off and uses the same function for checking human verification as the default template for registration anyway. (It's all managed by {vb:raw human_verify}). I don't see how it would miraculously change. I assume it's possible to change what {vb:raw human_verify} calls up, but that's obviously not going to be a 2 minute edit in the way I was hoping. Anyway, it's functional in lightbox mode now (with it still turned in in Human Verification Manager), but it's messy because the text still shows up as noted previously, so I might go back to embedded until I'm in the mood to mess about with it unless somebody offers a simple fix. |
Mr, Anarch, here's a simple fix to remove the label, but it's a bit of a hack for now.
To remove the "PlayThru Human Verification" label, comment out line 76 in "include/class_humanverify_playthru.php: PHP Code:

I tried to test PlayThru on a well known proxy (hidemyass) but it wouldn't show up. Is this a case of your IP blocking the proxy (aka it's banned from your servers so can't be read off of them)? I would still like to see a version where you can upload the flash to your own server! ;) |
The way that web proxies serve pages prevents our code from being executed correctly (or at all). So that's not something we can fix.
It's unlikely you'll ever be able to host our service yourself, since we don't want to release our verification code, and by hosting the game files, we can seamlessly push down updates. Thanks for using PlayThru! |
